Hotel in zona Guilfoyle Park, Sydney

I'll start with the very few cons about this motel and finish with the substantial pros: Cons: This motel looks a bit shabby on the outside, and the furnishings in my room were old particleboard and showed signs of swelling at the edges presumably from Sydney's high humidity. The TV wasn't a smart TV. There was no in-room safe that I could see. Pros: The charge for the room was very reasonable, especially for Australia Day weekend. The bed was comfortable, the sheets and towels clean and changed daily. The room was clean and the bathroom spotless. The included breakfast is (two servings of each if a couple has booked the room): A variety of Kellogg cereal packets (I'm sure you could probably request specific types if you want), milk, two slices of white bread, butter and jam. My room had a toaster, microwave, kettle, kitchen sink and dishes, glasses and cutlery. The air conditioning was excellent and modern. My room (ground floor at the back of the parking lot) was remarkably quiet given the motel's location on a main road. The motel also held my bags cheerfully in their office after we had checked out so we could tour around before our flight. There are a limited number of free parking spots for guests (not reserved). The motel is centrally located, five minute walk from shops including a Coles and Aldi, Pharmacy and Edgecliff Metro Station. It's a two minute walk to a bus stop towards Watson's Bay or to the CBD in the other direction. Bottom line: The staff here were very attentive, far beyond the looks of this motel. This is a good value option for people who want to stay along the Bondi line but would prefer not to be at Kings Cross. It was actually cheaper than private rooms in many hostels around town. They do cut corners to keep the price low (old furniture) but it's a good tradeoff. I would definitely stay again. Pro tip: Try to secure a room facing the back of the building to avoid traffic noise.

Ho notato un feedback aggressivo qui sotto e voglio sostenere questo posto fantastico. Sono rimasto nella stanza in marzo e poi in giugno con il mio partner.Confirmo che il WiFi richiede attenzione perché è troppo povero, ma sono felice che mentre ero qui, la gestione ha lavorato su questo tema. That’s true that Reception isn’t 24/7 but this is Boutique Hotel for people who are not familiar with term, it does not mean luxury all inclusive Conrad by Hilton hotel that’s why don’t expect room service, 24/7 front desk service, towel swans and etc. Inoltre, le belle e amiche donne alla reception vanno a miglia in più per assicurarsi che si sente comodo e comodo a casa. La stanza non è grande ma elegante se si desidera più spazio per andare in camera con balcone e si può godere di una tazza di caffè o tè, che si può trovare presso la reception complimentare, prima della mattina guardando il Potts Point. Lovely stay as per usual. Clean room, good service and great location.

Sono rimasto qui per quattro notti questa settimana. Ho soggiornato in molti hotel a Sydney, ma l'Hotel Challis è ora al top della mia lista. Super tranquilla posizione, camere climatizzate pulite. Una splendida terrazza rilassante per sedersi e raffreddare. Vicino a favoloso caffè e cibo, e anche la piscina Andrew (Boy) Charlton dove nuoto ogni giorno. Il manager Nicole e la sua assistente Victoria sono solo meravigliosi. Molto gentile e eccellente comunicazione. Non posso aspettare di tornare qui, grazie tante a Nicole e Victoria per aver svolto un'operazione così fantastica di ospite, e per aver reso il mio soggiorno assolutamente perfetto. Ci vediamo presto.

The club lounge 24 hours is impressive But cocktail time, the food is worse than my last stay I found that they assign bad room type to me due to I didn't book with them directly It's a serious points I like park view high floor n not the end of corridor All they don't follow it I need to request to change room, still not good The window is small 😓

Il buono - la posizione è piuttosto centrale e il letto è molto comodo. La gita all'aeroporto è stata di circa 20 minuti e circa 50 dollari Aus. Abbiamo dovuto anche camminare a fianco per passare attraverso l'apertura. La camera da bagno era lunga e sottile (~12 piedi x 2 piedi - pensando a lancio di bowling) ”camera” con un piccolo bacino al di sopra del corridoio e il bagno alla fine con la doccia che si ritrova nella camera principale sul lato.

Stayed here with my husband and son on the first leg of our Oz journey. We didn’t see a lot of the staff (we didn’t need to) but when we did they were very helpful and courteous and happily helped us out. The room itself was fine for our family of 3 and although the bathroom was small it was perfectly useable. The site of the hotel was great, a 5 min walk to King’s Cross station, 20 minute walk to Paddington and 10 minutes to Rushcutters Bay. A great little hotel that is a perfect base for exploring

새로 지은곳이라서 쾌적했습니다만. 일단 주방시설은 청소를 하지만 역시 호스텔 특성상 그렇게 깨끗하게 쓰진 않습니다. 냉장고도 하나뿐이고 너무 작습니다. 빨래 할수 있는 공간도 없습니다. 지어진지 얼마 안된 공간이라서 이해는 했습니다. 방에 원래 에어컨이 없어서 더워 죽을뻔 했다가 겨우 문의로 통해 틀기 시작했습니다. 방은 일단 침대를 정리를 하는건지 안하는건지는 모르겠습니다. 정리가 되기도 전에 사람들이 채크인으로 들어와 썼던 자리를 바로 쓰게됩니다. 위생은 그래도 괜찮았던것 같았지만 페인트 냄새가 좀 났습니다. 그리고 그들이 처음에 열쇠 보증금이라고 기존 금액에 45불을 추가로 받아갔는데 리뷰를 작성해야 돌려준다는 말에 기가 막혔고 마 리뷰를 작성했지만 채크아웃을 마치고 귀국한지 2일이 됬는데도 그 45불은 아직도 안들어오고 있는 중입니다. 그래서 리뷰를 수정해서 다시 올립니다. 45불이 적어보여도 결코 적지않는 금액이란걸 다들 아실거라 생각합니다. 이점 이해하시고 오시면 좋을것 같습니다.
