All rooms have direct access to the billboards. From the Master Bedroom, you can directly access to a spectacular Lookout (lookout) with views to the lighthouse at Ponta do Pargo, the magnificent cliffs, the endless Atlantic ocean, and amazing sunsets. There is a swimming pool and water heating upon request. The property has designated areas for smoking. Guestrooms. Beds come with pillowtop mattresses. Next to the pool you can enjoy a large eight seater table and a large BBQ area.The Casa da Manta is situated in a rural area. 10 min. drive takes you to Prazeres, where you can find Supermarket and quality restaurants.An 8 to 10 minutes drive takes you to the coastal villages of Paul do Mar and Jardim do Mar. At Calheta, (15 minutes away) you can find a sandy beach.There are stunning mountain walks and views to enjoy nearby. The villa and property has 180 degrees sea view. The 100 year old stone house was rebuilt and modernized in 2007, while retaining its simplicity and modesty. Upstairs the house has a joint living room/dining room/kitchen, a bathroom and a large bedroom, and downstairs two bedrooms. All rooms have sea view and lead out to terraces. There is a stereo, dvd player, several films and a monitor but there is no wifi. There are also many books, in many languages, also for children. Linen and towels provided. The pool is 3 by 6 meters, not heated. There are several terraces for dining and sunbathing: a roofed one outside the kitchen, one old and one new outside upper bedroom, one under grapevine outside lower bedrooms, and one around the pool. The surroundings consist of farming terraces and flower gardens. The road is reached by private stairs (60 steps). Parking on road about 100 metres away from top of stairs.
