Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Very private, newly built cabin tucked into a prairie coulee. You will quickly forget you are only minutes away from the city. Prepare an evening meal with your well equipped kitchen. Watch the sunrise on the large wrap around deck. There are many acres of yard to explore as well. You really will have many of the comforts of home in a place like no other! Great place to relax
The space
Lots of trees, lots of privacy! Absolute Diamond in the Rough!
Guest access
You are welcome to safely explore the Coulee and creeks on the property. Help yourself to the beach volleyball court and basketball court. The main house is off-limits.
Other things to note
This cabin is completely off grid. Solar energy for power. Water jugs are supplied for cooking and drinking, but currently no shower. Seasonal outdoor shower will be available when temperatures allow. We really hope our guests find their time here as relaxing and enjoyable as we do.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs and cats (limit 2 total).About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

A Bird's ParadiseAn incredible cabin on a peaceful and quiet piece of land. The workmanship that has gone into this place to make it environmentally friendly and comfortable is amazing. From the solar power to the hand made frames and railings, this place has something for everyone. For my husband (wildlife photographer) and I, we loved the variety of birds ( we counted 20 species in one evening!) Just make sure to bring proper clothing and spray to help avoid the tics!

Cozy and comfortable
It’s like clamping but also roughing it. Lots of open space to spread out if you want. Nestled in a treed cove away from owners watching you. Extremely awesome view of the stars even though it’s just a few minutes out of the city. Comfortable bed and bedding. Cabin is Bigger than it looks on the outside. Downside is no running water. And the seasonal shower is outside which has hot water but too hot to be directly under it. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Ken and Serena.

Hidden Gem
This cabin is all you need for a peaceful getaway. It’s tucked in a very private section of the property and equipped with everything you need for a great escape from any city hustle and bustle. Ken and Serena are wonderful hosts and they go out of their way to provide you with their bikes, canoe and the use of the land to explore at your hearts content. I truly recommend it if you’re looking for that special quiet escapade.
