We would be considered a tiny home or park model cabin. Guests have said it is big enough for your family of 4 to not feel cramped. Located in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are close to hiking, rafting, tubing, and kayaking. You'll feel right at home if you enjoy any of these activities, or just want to relax and enjoy the river view. Fishing from the deck is definitely a plus. Our quaint little town has been voted one of the top 10 small towns to visit with local breweries and The Great Smoky Mtn Railroad.The space Convenient river access near by makes it your Fisherman' Retreat. A maximum of 4 guests is our policy. NO MORE! We are pet friendly (dogs only) with prior approval. A $50 non refundable fee per pet is due on arrival in cash. Pets must be crated when you are out.The bedroom has a queen size bed and the other sleeping space is a loft with headroom only. It has a full size bed mattress and is accessible by ladder only. Great for kids or young adults. Towels (1 set per person) and linens are provided free, so you don't have to worry about bringing them with you, unless you don't use a towel more than once. (Sorry) A full galley kitchen is well stocked with all the pots and pans, dishes, glasses and utensils you will need. Bring your paper products, including garbage bags, dish soaps and any other necessities for cooking. There is salt & pepper and some spices but that's it. Coffee filters are provided for the regular full size coffee pot.Guest accessYou have access to the entire Cabin. It is located in the Bear Hunter Campground, although you're not really there for the campground. Sorry no fire pit.No grill, however you may bring your own.Other things to note*The pet fee is for allowing pets to visit. It is to compensate for all the extra cleaning that is takes. It is not a damage fee. If your pet does damage because it has not been crated or watched, you will be requested to pay for the damage.*Please be honest if you break something. If something is missing or damaged I will turn it in to VRBO and request payment for it.Please care for our place and things like you care for your own or better. Nature may find it's way indoors even in a spotlessly clean home.QUIET HOURS: WE VALUE OUR NEIGHBORS AND ASK THAT YOU BE MINDFUL AND RESPECT OUR QUIET HOURS BETWEEN 10:00PM AND 8AM. At certain times of the year (the exact dates are impossible to forecast in advance) Asian Lady Beetles impact the majority of cabin rentals in the entire Smoky Mountains region. A cabin that is spotlessly clean on a cold day can be invaded within a matter of MINUTES by an army of Lady Beetles. Having dead Lady Beetles in the property DOES NOT mean that the property was not cleaned. **SMOKING : Please help us keep our home smoke free. Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the home this includes E-Cigarettes. We have no objection to you smoking in the designated Firepit area or away from open windows or doors. We ask that you put cigarette completely out all the way and please dispose in trash receptacle and not on grounds. SMOKEY BEAR says : "Only YOU can prevent wildfires"We do not provide firewood. If you would like to purchase a bundle please let us know before your arrival and we will arrange to have it delivered. Firewood may also be available at nearby stores and gas station.We provide a propane Blackstone flat top Griddle and a grill. Grill away, but please give it a clean before and after each use and make sure propane tank is shut-off after every use.No animals allowed.
