Visit The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center to learn how to protect our endangered/threatened sea turtles. Walk out the doorstep, through a private access ocean view breezeway. In less than 100 steps, you are on the beach watching the crisp blue waves hit the shore. Enjoy shark teeth hunting in one of the most well-known shark tooth islands along the East Coast. Other shower essentials NOT provided. Walk up the stairs, where you will find the half bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room and balcony. Hurricane season runs from June 1st -November 30 in North Carolina, with most activity in September and October. Travel insurance is highly recommended during these months.
