I recently spent my New Year's celebration at the Marriott Surabaya, and let me tell you, the first impression was like discovering a ”classic vinyl record”—a bit outdated yet full of charm! The decor leans towards the older side, but I was prepared for this vibe thanks to various reviews I had read. After settling in, I grew to love the cozy atmosphere—like wrapping myself in a warm blanket. The room was surprisingly spacious, offering more space than many newer hotels, making it feel like my own little oasis! The bathroom was also gleaming and roomy enough for an impromptu dance party, should the mood strike! Now, let’s dive into the breakfast experience at Pavilion. The cage-like design of the venue adds a unique touch, inviting plenty of sunlight—perfect for brightening up your morning. The buffet offered a wide array of dishes to satisfy international travelers' palates, making each breakfast an exciting adventure. The selection of Indonesian cuisines and desserts was particularly impressive. But what truly set Pavilion apart was the staff. They were superb and went above and beyond, taking the time to cater to us personally. They even recommended and brought out some local dishes—insider choices that added an authentic touch to our dining experience. In my past hotel breakfasts, the staff often just fulfilled their duties, but here, it felt more like breakfast with friends. That warmth and attentiveness made all the difference! And don’t miss out on the local flavors of ice cream! I can’t name the flavors since they’re all in local dialects, but they were heavenly and a fun challenge to try! For lunch and dinner, I found myself opting for room service several times because resisting their tempting menu was like ignoring a catchy tune stuck in your head. Each meal surpassed my expectations—purely irresistible! Another delightful surprise was the complimentary laundry service offered daily, which saved me after my waterfall adventure left me looking like a mud monster. And post-overnight trip to Bromo? I was practically a walking dust bunny! As I like to say, ”It's the little things that count,” and this thoughtful touch truly made a difference. Lastly, the hotel's location is fantastic! Just a short stroll away lies the biggest shopping mall—truly a haven for foodies and shoppers alike. Overall, my stay at the Marriott Surabaya was delightful, and I left with wonderful memories—definitely a place I’d recommend for a cozy yet vibrant experience!

Ho deciso di avanzare con la proposta, che valeva così la pena.La suite junior mi concede l'accesso alla sala esecutiva. Quando sono arrivato lì, mi è stato servito da un cuoco estremamente accogliente, caldo e amichevole nome Alfred. Ci vuole tempo per introdurre i piatti con tanta passione e calore. Mi fa stare bene. Ha avuto un tempo estremamente piacevole a Sheraton grazie a lui. Il suo servizio è uno dei motivi per cui Sheraton è la scelta migliore per i successivi soggiorni ogni volta che in Surabaya (non menzionare il delizioso Rawon che serve sia il salone esecutivo che il ristorante lobby) L'altro personale dell'hotel è molto amichevole, sempre salutando i clienti con un sorriso. C'è una sala fumatori, c'è un SAP all'11° piano e dalle 9 alle 15 c'è uno sconto del 20%. C'è una piscina al 17° piano, la biancheria da letto è comoda e c'è molta acqua calda! Il nostro volo partiva alle 9:50 del mattino. Se avessimo ordinato il servizio Grab alle 6:30, un autista avrebbe ritirato l'ordine rapidamente. Prendere un taxi per l'aeroporto sarebbe costato meno di 40 yuan. Siamo partiti la mattina presto e abbiamo chiesto all'hotel di prepararci la colazione in anticipo~

Got upgraded to junior suites, thanks to hotel front officer. Unfortunately, our room was very hot because it is on the highest floor. Bathroom was great with shower and bathub.

L'hotel era ben situato dietro il Mall di Tungunan. Circa 5-7mins passeggiata. Opp è un bel posto di caffè e c'è anche un piazzale al ristorante dell'hotel. La stanza è iniziata ad invecchiare, ma l'aria condizionata ti fa freddo. Buona tariffa

Stay again for the 2nd time after my original first stay when we first arrived in Surabaya before moving to Jogja. This time the room assigned to us had problem with the shower head. Its spoilt and the water was so close to the wall it is almost impossible to shower properly. You either bump into the faucet or accidentally turned it off or moved the water setting, very frustating. If not because if its proximity to one of the largest shopping mall (Tunjungan Plaza) and my first stay room was not so bad without the shower head issue, I will surely have had a bad experience with the hotel itself. Its value for money though. The location is exactly the sane as Wyndam hotwl. (4 stars) which is jusy opposite the hotel

Il regentris Cendana ha un soggiorno molto piacevole e piacevole! Il personale era molto bello, amichevole, accogliente e utile!! L'hotel è stato anche molto buono, a piedi di distanza a Tunjungan Plaza, con una strada semplice e diretta. Sicuramente consigliere e rimanere ancora!
