Melia Sunny Beach All Inclusive

Stayed at this hotel from the 15th until the 22nd September arriving at 11.45 pm by the time we had checked in it was gone 12 midnight checked in told we were on the fifth floor nothing as a drink or anything to eat as everything was shut which was shocking so got to our room with was a double room two guests in each nice view from the large balcony but on the third day my wife went to bed and woke up in the morning to 21 bites which we believe were from bed bugs went to report it to reception and they said to check at the health clinic who wanted to get payed to check so we left the changed the bedding that day but nothing Else was don’t the cleaning of the rooms in non existent the give clean towels and part make the bed the floors were never cleaned or the bath rooms in each room pools were nice but the sunbeds are rammed together with no room floors around the pools dirty food was good especially the snack bar some parts of the hotel needs upgrading the staff were sometimes rude and never happy we even seen two workers getting separated after an argument putting one of them in where the served the ice cream to stop the other worker getting to him we spoke to the guest relations lady about the issue with no food given or drinks when we checked in and the smoking around the pools she she we should of had something and said people were not to smoke yet the next day we seen her talking to a guest who was smoking by the pool entertainment was shocking we only seen one singer all the time we were there the security guards on the gates make the Chelsea pensioners look young overall the experience we had was not very good at all and will not be back good points are the pool and food and snack bar bad points the drinks and unfriendly staff and the shocking house keeping we had our room was 3534

Here now, rooms are great but big let down with the pools there freezing cold food is crap Breakfast is the only thing good but very busy hard to find table , 5 days left and both our family's are depressed Terrible id never come back waste of money

We went to Sunny Beach for the first time. What a lovely hotel. Negatives Staff work long hours I understand but need to smile more and be a little bit more helpful. We went to the Spa for a Turkish Bath the lady on the reception can’t remember her Name but starts with L is in the wrong job. She came across so rude and very un helpful. We weren’t offered a towel card when we checked in, you had to ask. You need to offer this when checking in. The beach hut where you can get drinks etc needs a facelift it’s not what AJ expected, it looked better on photos but not in person. Positives The rooms were beautiful and look like they had just had a face lift. We were on floor 9 with pool and see view. The bathroom was massive and it was so clean. The meals, there was a lot of choice too saying how many they cater for. I think the key to your room is on your wrist band this is such a good idea. WELL DONE it was such genius idea, saved me from searching my bag for the key. Sunbed you were told not to reserve but this was ignored, there was plenty to go round so it wasn’t a problem for us. I would go again and thank you for a lovely holiday!

AVOID THIS AWFUL HOTEL!!! not sure where to even start but here goes: over crowded in all areas especially the restaurant, food always cold and the same every day. staff are rude and dont engage with people they just look through you! the surrounding areas arent clean the whole place needs to be refurbished. the rooms are clean but very dated. the toilet was filling up with water all the time you had to bang it to stop it. the bar is in the reception area and is no place to sit and have a quiet relaxing drink. there is a water slide right next to the balcony of the room. the hotel is ok if you are looking for a benidorm type of vibe but that isnt me. drinks served all day and night in paper cups not plastic ones which i have never known on an all inclusive. the snack bar is dirty and full of flies. the first day i was sitting on the balcony and someone above vomited over there balcony and it missed me by an inch! (so this is the type of people that stay here!).i complained to the reception who took ages to come and clean it. i could only stay in this hotel for 2 nights then i had to pay £350 to change to the Tui Blue nevis down the road which is a 4 star hotel!. this hotel is falsely advertised as being a 4 star.

Myself and my wife have been holidaying at this hotel for 10yrs from when it was Iberostar and now Melia the service has always been excellent rooms a very high standard and a very good standard of cleanliness but we were both very sad to see Peter who we both thought was a fantastic addition to the Melia Hotel team had been removed from the hotel even though he was a great favourite to many of the hotel customers and many of them would like to see the management reconsider their decision

This hotel ticks all the boxes for a fantastic all inclusive holiday. food- entertainment-rooms are all exceptional. A big shout out to Peter from customer service you really made our stay very enjoyable thanks for all the tips and your professional service. Looking forward to seeing you next year keep up the great work!!!
