MPM Hotel Kalina Garden - All Inclusive

Positives: The hotel was clean and our room was very comfortable. We went in September so it wasn't very busy and we could always find a sunbed or somewhere to sit. Location was great, only a 5 minute walk to the main *****. Pool area was nice and clean. Could always find something nice to eat, not a massive selection but enough to find something for everyone. A good selection of cocktails. Fresh water delivered to the room every day. Negatives: Hotel staff always looked miserable but I think that's just what Bulgarians look like so try not to take it too personally Sunbeds were plastic with no cushions so uncomfortable if you wanted to lay around all day. Our room was right on the edge of the hotel (2nd floor) next to a fire escape which you couldn't close the door of, so it didn't feel that safe. Hotel is pretty old and worn. Swimming pool was absolutely freezing! The entertainment was just the same eurotrash/spanish songs every night and if I hear despacito one more time I will cry.

Very good Hotel , central and very convenient location , close to the sea. Very nice hotel manager , great staff, and the animation team is on top The kids really enjoyed the pool and the ice cream. We will definitely come back again

It was absolutely terrible the room was dirty ! The carpets were dirty even the bedding were from stains of blood ! The stuff was rude and didn’t know any English ! I’ve been transfer to different room only to have bites all over my body never a gain !

I'm here to put right all the wrongs thats being said about this hotel....having just got back from an 8 night stay I have to say that I had 2 small issues only...1. The elevators need sorted as very very slow. And 2. The WiFi is pathetic. Everything else was spot on. The bar staff where outstanding everything we asked for we got without hesitation. The buffet food was catered for other nations but there was always something to suit (rice, noodles,potato wedges, turkey in gravy, soups, meatballs, chicken,fresh cooked fish, fruits,) and all fresh. The snack bar cooked fresh chips constantly and baked fresh pizza constantly the pizza is possibly the best I've EVER had. Cleaner's in the room everyday with fresh towels bedding and bottled water so couldn't complain. 2 min walk from.the main *****. Good entertainment team. Spacious lobby and get room ps4 etc for guests. I really can't complain about the hotel/staff/food at all. Even let you keep your all inclusive band when you check out at 12. I was there until 8:30pm and could eat and drink until I left.

We booked the room and then we attempted to contact the property countless times to confirm our reservation and no one answered the phone. On arrival were met by a staff member that should not be working in hospitality as he never said any welcoming words. On the way to our room we realised that we made a huge mistake as the dirt in the corridors was indescribable and unfortunately the smell of food such as fry macro and variety of off soup we’re almost shocking us; never mind that when I entered the room I realised that the room itself was worst than the corridors, when tried to get a shower the shower was broken which was fixed but the toilet flush wasn’t working properly and I did have to fill 10 litres of water bottle and use it to flush the toilet.This also was reported but for four days we were there no one did fixed the issue. In the morning we miss the breakfast but when we went to the snack bar it become clear to us why there was bad smell in the corridor as the staff were frying everything in a black oil, the tables and food areas were disgusting. Food at the snack bar is disgusting and not safe to eat. Nobody from the hotels chefs follow food hygiene guidelines and checked the temperature of the hot dishes during my stay! Kitchen staff did not speak any different languages like English. There is no description of the food nobody knows what they eating! No information about food allergy! The hotel description is 4 stars but did not meet the criteria for 2 stars! I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone if you looking all inclusive hotel in Sunny Beach!

Katrina absolutely amazing bar lady very polite every time I go up for a drink so friendly offers if we needed anything during the day no bad words about her smiles always.my mum put a review on that bar women needs a pay raise we love her xxxxxxx
