The Oaks Bed and Breakfast

My teen daughter and I were traveling to look at colleges and found The Oaks by chance. This place is STEAL! The room we rented (Magnolia) had a mimor problem with A/C. The owner - Allison - was very responsive even though we arrived well past regular hours (after 10pm) and immediately upgraded us to the Sycamore room. The room was massive! Incredibly comfortable with a huge sitting area and bathroom (giant tub and stand up shower).In the morning Allison served us a homemade breakfast of quiche and scones and included a little jar of jelly she'd made herself for us to take home as a souvenir. Food was delicious! I would 100% come back here for a girls weekend with my daughter again or a weekend retreat with my husband. If my kid chooses the college we were looking at I think we may become regulars at The Oaks! p.s. one tiny word of warning - The Magnolia Room had no door on the bathroom. We giggled endlessly about that!

I absolutely loved my stay here! The room way perfect, it was quiet and peaceful. I will definitely be visiting again and booking a room here! It’s just a few minutes from downtown where you can walk around and shop. A couple minutes from a nice park for your children to play.

Sycamore room at the Oaks Very big and spacious room love the large tub. The breakfast was awesome wish we could have stayed longer.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Sycamore room. The room is HUGE with a lovely seating area with a walk out private balcony. Very large bathroom complete with a soaking tub & separate shower area. Very comfortable king bed made for a refreshing nights sleep. High end amenities with some products from the Buff Soap store downtown. Allison the innkeeper is a delightful person as well as a top notch chef. Our breakfast was delicious. The inn offers water, soft drinks & coffee anytime of the day in their dining room . Even kind enough to store our left over meal that we had eaten in town. (Corner Grub House restaurant, very tasty) Unfortunately we forgot to grab it when we ckd out even though Allison reminded me.😁😉 The town Sulphur Springs was fun to shop around & explore. We even purchased products from the Buff Soap store as a result of our stay at The Oaks. Allison recommended the Dairy museum & we found it very interesting. HIGHLY recommend The Oaks!! :) :) Thank you Allison for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.🥰

Wonderful Pace to stay An Amazing Stay. The sycamore Suite was spacious. Enjoyed our private balcony overlooking the back yard. The king bed was very comfortable and we almost overslept. Woke up at 8, and made it in time to the wonderful home cooked breakfast by Alison. Definitely a great spot to add to your travels. Thank you Alison for making our first stay at a Bed Breakfast a highlight of our trip.
