Most likely the furthest away from all the beach resorts in the area, this property may not be in the heart of all the action, but it does provide the seclusion and privacy if that is more your speed. The property is a bit dated and at one point could have rivaled any exclusive resort in the area, and whoever originally designed it, had the right vision in mind. I think with a little investment, this property could once again shine like it’s beginning. The current staff are very friendly and accommodating. When they realize that we had elderly in our party that could not go up the second floor to our Executive Suite rooms, they suggested we stay in a first-floor villa at no additional charge. When we had to extend the next day due to unplanned events, they were more than accommodating. When we ordered food from the restaurant after arriving late afternoon, it was delivered to our villa including our order of ice-cold beer in a bucket of ice. When we requested an extra bed, since we had one additional person in our party, it was delivered without an issue. I think the concern that most reviewers had was probably that they were excepting more than what they paid for. Although we didn’t stay in the Executive Suite as originally planned, when I did a walkthrough, I would have been happy with room and maybe would have thought it as a bargain. I was satisfied staying in a villa instead because we were able to connect 2 rooms together, and it was accessible for our elderly guest. The real reason we stayed here is because we are avid hikers and wanted to hike Mount Balingkilat. See my review of Mount Balinkilat for more details. This property is closest to the trail head (15 minutes away) and I would consider it an ideal jump point. Unfortunately, I was not able to see or swim in the beach because of our long day hike, however upon arrival, I was able to swim in the large 6+ feet pool closest to the hotel which was clean and very refreshing! If you are looking for a 5-star property, then you should pay 5-star prices which you are not with this property. This property is a real bargain and value for what it currently has to offer, and I would be happy to stay here again in the future especially if I’m doing additional hikes in the area.

Questo è un avvertimento per chiunque intenda usare il loro luogo/hotel per un evento. Ho prenotato questo posto per il mio matrimonio. Ho anche prenotato più camere per i miei ospiti. Ho messo un pagamento per garantire l'evento. Dopo il pagamento, si è comunicato che il luogo è nostro. Un mese prima del matrimonio, il personale ci ha informato che il proprietario dell'hotel ospita un evento politico il giorno del mio matrimonio nella stessa zona della ricezione e della cerimonia. Ci hanno dato la possibilità di trasferire il matrimonio in una camera di recinzione atroce al piano di sopra senza A/C. La camera non aveva nemmeno una vista sul mare, sulle montagne e non poteva vedere il sole. L'altra opzione era di spostare la data del matrimonio o trovare un altro posto. Prendi nota, abbiamo già avuto il piano di matrimonio in esecuzione e l'intero layout e decorazione pianificati. Sono stati causati così enormi sconforti per noi. Un mese prima del matrimonio, dovevamo ricominciare a riprendere il mio matrimonio e trovare un nuovo luogo per tenerlo, e il proprietario non aveva nemmeno la capacità di comunicare con noi e il loro uomo medio era in grado di gestirlo. Solo perché è il proprietario, può fare qualsiasi cosa vuole.Abbiamo stabilito un rimborso, ma non abbiamo nemmeno offerto alcuna compensazione per le nostre inconvenienti. Questo è un servizio clienti molto povero e non un buon modo di gestire un'attività. Se si sceglie questo posto, si prega di avvertire su come gestiscono il loro business. Non lo consiglierei nemmeno al mio peggiore nemico.
