Mercure Perth

The shower plumbing is horrible, I’m not sure if this was just the room I had. The shower literally screams at you if you don’t move the dial fast enough. Hotel staff said this was normal and that the hotel was fully booked so no room swap, which at this point was fine we didn’t care that much. On top of that there were no notices that the hotel was going through renovations. There were banging noises from above starting from 8am, called the front desk and they said they weren’t sure what the noise was since it was supposed to be a ‘small renovation’. The noise continued for an hour and a half before I had to go down to the front desk to ask what was going on. The hotel was installing new carpeting. This was our only sleep on date and the hotel offered us a room swap at 9:45am but I already stressed that this was our last day and the checkout 12pm the same day so whats the point?? Overall horrible stay.
