Hotel in zona Gurdwara Sahib Sunway, Subang Jaya

All in all, we don’t mind the Cons (listed below Overview, Pros & Cons) as we only stayed 1 night. So for those looking to stay longer nights, if you don’t mind the cons, you can consider as it is affordable for spacious rooms like this in Sunway City. Overview: 1. this is not managed by Sunway Property, its concept is like booking airbnb as each unit are owned by different owner, managed by a property management (not by Sunway). Residences of this property are also staying there. 2. The name of this place “Resorts Suites @ Bandar Sunway” was tagged as “hotel” in Trip.com, so this can be a bit misleading thinking that this is one of Sunway Properties’ hotel chain. 3. Its reception is at B1 of Sunway Pyramid Hotel, all levels are only accessible by card. 4. Good for stay if you are just looking for lower budget accommodation in Sunway City (for singles, solo travelers, etc), but wouldn’t recommend if are looking at cosy and clean rooms (for family with kids / elderly). 5. As it is a “house” unit itself, it comes with kitchen and some with balcony. Those with kids, need to take note of the balcony. Pro: 1. Attentive staff, very helpful and attend to our needs quite immediately. 2. Room is spacious, good enough for 3 (2+1) to sleep in (Deluxe) and if you opt for the bigger units, can zzz up to 6 pax. 3. Affordable room rates comparable to any of the Sunway hotels around this area. 4. For the unit we stayed in, water pressure is very strong, good bathing time, good flush and running tap is strong. 5. Our unit came with a bathtub but we didn’t use it. 6. 2 beds in our unit, both are king size. 7. Provided clean towels, disposal toothbrushes and shampoos/bath gels. 8. Provided mineral waters, and packet coffee/tea with cups and stirrer, and there’s water boiler too, if you need to use. 9. Aircon is working fine in both living hall and room. 10. Very spacious bathroom. 11. Quiet at night, so can sleep well. Cons: 1. Room furnitures are old and some are not well kept. Probably it’s the way how it’s being managed, so proper care is not given priority by the owner itself. 2. Room is dusty, has a lot of cob webs and also little bugs/ants. So take note especially around the bed area. 3. Bed sheets were just ok. Can be better as looks dusty and with light stains. 4. Curtains are old and dirty. 5. Tv channels only 2 channels. 6. Remote controls (tv and aircon) are dusty. 7. Has balcony but I don’t see that as a plus point as it can be hazardous for family with kids. 8. Door lock was loose, hence we got to change to another room as we have kid with us, so safety is priority to us. 9. Parking flat rate - I didn’t ask if they have flat rate, but may not be since it’s not under Sunway management directly. For us with child, our priority is always safety and cleanliness. So we will look for other options under Sunway Hotels if next time we intend to spend our nights in Sunway City.

C'è una differenza notevole in quanto i diversi ospiti sono trattati. Ho chiesto di avere entrambe le camere sullo stesso piano, ma è stato detto che l'hotel era troppo pieno per ospitare questo. Quindi ho pagato un supplemento per l'aggiornamento di una stanza. Nonostante ciò, gli ospiti di quella stanza erano vacanti solo alle 4:06 e non ho ricevuto alcuna chiamata, anche se abbiamo lasciato la nostra stanza circa le 6:00. Quando ho chiesto alla ricezione di questo, hanno detto di chiamare la nostra stanza, ma nessuno ha risposto. Non è realistico aspettare che qualcuno si fermi in camera tutto il giorno senza uscire, soprattutto perché ho informato la ricezione durante il check-in che potrei essere raggiunto sul mio cellulare. È come se non avessi pagato il prezzo pieno e avessi solo pagato un supplemento, la nostra stanza era disponibile solo quando siamo tornati all'hotel alle 10 pm, e non ci sono stati snack, a differenza della stanza pagata. Ho chiesto un check-out tardivo per un'ora, ma è stato detto che solo una stanza sarebbe stata concessa questo privilegio. Tuttavia, altri ospiti sono stati autorizzati a controllare fino a 4 pm. Ci sono chiare e significative disparità nel trattamento dei diversi ospiti. Le tazze e le strutture dovrebbero essere riempite quotidianamente, non solo il primo giorno del check-in, ma ciò non è stato coerente, poiché alcune camere hanno ricevuto questi articoli mentre altre non lo hanno fatto.

Il posto è pulito e pieno di attrazioni, tra cui mini teatro, karaoke. La stanza è pulita e comoda. Se vai a Sun Med, questo è un posto molto conveniente per soggiornare.

I had a very good short stay here. The bed was big and room very comfortable. Air conditioning was strong and the room was good for the price paid. You can choose to top up if you want an earlier check in. The lounge area outside was very cosy, with vending machines, refillable water and charging stations if you want to chill before leaving the area. I was served by Kamil upon check in and she was so friendly and helpful. I was able to store my bags first before checking in as I arrived earlier. There is a QR Code that you can scan to get information and talk to someone if yo u need help. I served by Hoikot upon checking out and he was very helpful with my questions. Do note that deposit is via cash only, so do prep beforehand. Recommend anyone who wants an alternative when going to sunway.

Good location hotel, near shopping mall and business area. Staffs are helpful and service-mind. Room is clean and comfortable. But breakfast place is another hotel and hasn't work table. However room has serve table that can place laptop.

The location is good, next to Sunway pyramid mall. I booked 2 rooms, 1 of the room smell bad, with smoking smell, the other room is fine.

Room is spacious and clean. Provided all the necessary amenities including daily newspapers. Welcome drink is provided. Only the aircond is quite cold and bathroom does not have separate shower area. Other than that, its worth the price. Very friendly staffs. Breakfast is provided and its quite reasonable with the price. Location nearby malls and walking distance to LRT/BRT USJ 7.

Arrived at night at it is kinda hard to find empty parking spot since it is located at the center of SS15. Walking distance to nearest lrt station. Less than 1km to nu empire and subang parade on food. Lots of eateries nearby. Basic toiletries provided. Love the shower, got fast water flow. Room is not soundproof. Good counter service and very helpful too.

Good : 1. Location - combined with a shopping mall, which makes it easy to search for eating places. Bad : 1. The parking fee is not free. Each entry will be charged min RM2 & max RM5.50. 2. No toothbrush & toothpaste are provided inside the toiletries. 3. Broken phone inside the room. Cannot call the lobby. Housekeeping forgot to replace the towel, and I needed to walk to the lobby to request the towel. 4. Old design, furniture & TV. 5. AC was too cold. Even with the setting of 24 degrees & humid mode, it is still too cold. The only option is to turn off the AC when too cold and turn it back on when hot. Also, no AC remote control, so all the control can only be done at the AC switch, near the front door. 6. Slow wifi speed. In 2024, 5Mbps is considered too slow. Overall : Not worth the price. I will never book this hotel again. Extra : I also had the training session at their conference room, the AC was also too cold, even when we asked them to increase the temperature. The food provided during morning & lunch also not my taste.

As for the amenities, they were top-notch, offering everything I needed, from a well-equipped gym to a relaxing spa. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a flawless experience. 5/5 across the board!
