Esperanza Resort & Spa

I like new hotels, I like destinations off the beaten path, I like resorts more than city hotels, and I probably like lake/mountain resorts more than beach because we already have lots of beach choices in various places of the world so I do not necessarily need more of them. This hotel hits all points. Icing on the cake is that it is borderline luxury for the price of non-luxury. The hotel opened earlier this year, they only have 28 rooms so it feels very private and 13 of them are suites so upgrade potential is good. We received an upgrade to a loft suite as Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite which had excellent hardware and could easily be a Luxury Collection hotel; some features are rarely seen elsewhere such as CO2 sensor. Bathroom toiletries were Le Labo. The entire resort was very well taken care of with active staff blowing leaves and cleaning outdoors even though the hotel was low occupancy in shoulder season. They have a small beach on the lake which could be nice in the summer for people looking for that although I think there would be plenty of other activities, and quite large surrounding forest in their private grounds. The kids club was one of the better ones we have seen, it was quite large considering how few rooms the hotel has and many of their toys were still brand new as they have probably not had many children stay yet. Some travellers tend to avoid Design Hotels because of lack of elite benefits, but here I am not sure it’s a critical factor - everybody has breakfast included. On mornings where occupancy was high enough, they had a small buffet to go along with the a la carte menu. The quality was good and the menu imaginative including Japanese twist to it. On mornings with lower occupancy it was a la carte only but we could order what was normally in the buffet. We loved this new hotel and can highly recommend it. We would probably like it even more if it was summer or winter. It’s a great addition to Bonvoy which ticked a lot of boxes of what we are looking for. I am not a huge hotel expert for Lithuania but based on what I have seen before, I suspect this might be the absolute best hotel in the entire country.

Stayed for two nights in July and we loved it. The grounds are beautiful- walking trails, the lake, spa, gardens, etc. But what really stood out was the service- we were given a tour when we arrived giving us some history of the property. The food was delicious- both dinner and breakfast. You can tell that they try to use fresh produce from their gardens. All the staff we encountered went out of their way to make our visit superb. Overall, a great experience.

This is not the first stay in this hotel for us but definitely not the last one. Why? Because of beautiful location, quiet atmosphere, amazing and highly professional staff, the Restaurant which should have a Micheline star. You will definitely find everything for relaxing when you decide to stay for a few days.

Good afternoon! On Saturday, 25.06 we were at Esperanza Resort & SPA . I want to share my impressions. Since we have not lived in Lithuania before, we decided to visit this club for the first time. Five days before the visit, I called to book a restaurant and sunbeds on the beach. The receptionist told me that the restaurant will book, and they do not book sun beds, but at the same time assured me that this is simply not necessary, because there are enough places for everyone. Two days before visit , I called back again to make sure everything was in order my booking - and again I heard the assurance that we were expected and we could have a great time. And so we arrived: three adults and three children. We arrived a little after one o'clock in the afternoon and immediately found out that there were no sun beds or umbrellas available. At the reception, we were immediately told that this wasn’t their problem and they didn’t promise reservations. And for my question: why did you say: you can arrive in any time and there will be enough space for everyone, and what should we do now? they replied that they could not help in any way. And also advised to go to a restaurant first, for lunch and waiting there will be a place on the beach. Since I was with my wife, her friend and children, I couldn't just turn around and leave this place. As a result, we sat in the restaurant until 17-00. Then, when the sunbeds were free, after paying about 400 € for lunch, my family went to the beach. And I went to the reception to take and pay for towels. Once again I want to draw attention to the time- 17-00. And then the administrator, and then the general manager, started telling me that we had to pay 175€ for towels. (It is appropriate to inform you that I did not just come to an expensive club, that I have the opportunity to pay without problems. ) But I've never been able to understand when they're just trying to deceive me. Total: at first you are lured to come, solely so that you spend money in a restaurant, and then they try to push you pay for towels, moreover, at a time when it's time to leave. All my explanations and attempts to prove that this is not possible, that it is not human, have not led to anything.... This "general manager" just laughed in my face and repeated that if we didn't pay, she would call security. As a result, the whole day was ruined, and we felt disgusting. I had to take a walk and leave. And already going out of the club, we realized the possible reason for this attitude to ourselves: the flag of Russia was in a prominent place near the hotel (it was during the war!), and they just wanted to humiliate us Ukrainians.... Something like that.... And now think for yourself whether it's worth going down to visiting people who support the aggressors and are ready to humiliate even children for the sake of money....

5 stars. An amazing place to escape from the busy life. Perfect rooms for the family, delicious food, beautiful views over the lake, very friendly and helpful staff, and so much more for the positive feedback! We wish we could stayed there longer.

Our family vacation was adorable. We choose Esperanza again and again! Thank u for the high service and always smiling and helpful personal. Restaurant and food is on a high level and was absolutely satisfying for our very high tastes.
