Hotel in zona Walgreens, Streetsboro

This was a really nice property to stay in. I really loved how close it was to every place I needed to go to or visit, including restaurants, family, and shopping. The staff, especially AJay was personable and helpful. The continental breakfast was more than continental, that was a lot of food to fill up on. The pool, although small was a lot of fun, for those of us who don't know how to swim, I wish there was a hot tub, but the pool served its purpose. The room was nice and clean as well. The only thing missing was a liquid soap and lotion mount by the sink. They only had that one little bitty soap, but I'm glad I travel with my own. Yet having that as an option, that little touch would've given the room a little more pizazz. All in all, I enjoyed my stay, I highly recommend Fairfield, they aim to please.

We were In town for a funeral and the staff could not have been nicer. Everyone was so friendly and greeted us daily- we were here for a week and every single person we encountered was kind. Joe and Steve at the front desk were especially gracious, Devante who was the housekeeper for our room checked with us daily to see if we needed anything, and Miss Jean at the morning breakfast was always there with a smile and a kind word every day. Also, there is a lady who I think we the assistant manager who was very helpful, but I lost the paper I wrote her name on. We had to leave in a hurry, so I was very thankful for the onsite laundry service. Also the location is wonderful, there are at least half a dozen restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, although it was 20 degrees so we drove a block. :) The hotel was sparkling clean, the coffee was always ready and hot and we loved having a kitchen to save money on eating out for an entire week. The only suggestion I have was that they should have one non-meat breakfast sandwich- my husband is a vegetarian and almost all the hot offerings had meat. He ate a lot of oatmeal and yogurt. But we will stay here again on our next visit home. Thanks to the wonderful and warm staff who treated us like family when we really needed a safe haven on a sad week.

Sono stato qui tre volte quest'anno e ho sempre incontrato il personale più amichevole. Stasera sono andati sopra e oltre. La nostra famiglia ha avuto una settimana dura, quindi è stato molto apprezzato. Mi hanno dato ”Guest of the Day” che includeva una stanza migliorata, colazione gratuita e 500 punti bonus e io stavo già per soggiornare in punti. L'hotel è pulito e tranquillo e questo è quello che ho bisogno dopo un giorno di viaggio. A mio parere, questa è la proprietà più bella di Marriott vicino allo Stato di Kent, e potrei rimanere molto più vicina ad una proprietà non marriott, ma per me la macchina extra vale la pena.

Abbiamo goduto il nostro soggiorno di una notte qui. La stanza era pulita e confortevole. L'unica denuncia è che ci è stato detto che il nostro soggiorno includeva colazione il prossimo giorno di domenica e non avevano niente per noi. Ci siamo alzati presto, quindi non abbiamo perso il colazione. In generale, rimarremmo certamente in questa catena hotel in futuro.

I recently spent a night in Sheraton Akron/Cuyahoga. It started off promising, but unfortunately a series of unfortunate issues led to a very unsatisfactory stay. I have lifetime elite status at both Marriott and Hilton, so I have seen plenty of hotel rooms. I manage a business myself, so I fully understand the challenges of motivating employees, satisfying customers, and balancing income vs expenses while trying to optimize operations. I consider myself a reasonable traveler and try to give the hotel management benefit of the doubt, but on the other hand, I also want to provide an honest review to help my fellow travelers. The good: (1) Nice location, overlooking the Cuyahoga River Gorge, especially if you choose to book a room on the river side (but beware, it also faces the noisy highway, which is on the other side of the narrow river.) (2) Every staff I came in contact with were courteous and professional. (3) Room was very spacious, with a separate sitting area. (4) Complimentary bottled water in the room The bad: The hotel is older, so I experienced various “hardware” issues during my stay. (5) Sink faucets were very difficult to turn. The pivot point, where the faucet handle was attached to the sink, was loose. When I tried to turn on and off the faucet using one hand, it was super hard, because the handle was not pivoting, instead I was effectively pushing the whole thing laterally. I had to use 2 hands, one to press down on the pivot point, and the other to turn the handle. It’s inconvenient when one hand was occupied (such as when I was brushing my teeth or shaving), but I couldn’t help but wonder if a guest had arthritis in the fingers, they might not be able to turn on/off the faucet at all. (6) Tub faucet had the regular switch to direct water from going out of the spout into the tub or going out of the shower head. However, there was a leak in the switch. When it was flipped to the Shower, part of the water was still coming out of the spout into the tub. That made the shower water pressure very weak. (7) TV was not connected to the internet. I thought all Marriott-chain hotels had migrated to digital TV that could stream online content, but apparently this hotel has not. I have come to rely on it to watch shows at night and to do workout videos in the morning. Not being able to stream the online content messed up my morning exercise routine. (8) Club Lounge: The lounge at this hotel was open 24/7 with beverage and fruit and snacks (granola bar) available all the time. That’s very nice. However, the day when I was there, the evening reception food offering was very poor - a small plate of crackers and some cheese cubes. That was it! I am used to other Marriott/Sheraton lounges with dinner-like options. I was at another Sheraton last month where a typical evening reception consisted of a cheese and cracker board, AND a veggie tray, AND a fruit tray, AND 2 hot entrees such as Coconut crusted shrimps, and lasa

Il posto ha un segno sotto costruzione e ne ha davvero bisogno. La struttura delle camere è ben spaziata e molto spazio. Ma mold, riposo sulle porte. 1942 tappeti e telai - che stanno appesantindo divertenti. Pittura terribile. area cucina fine. Questo potrebbe essere un bel posto con un grande ascensore facciale.

Anche se ci sono alcuni problemi tecnici con questo posto (riposare la camera Chromecast non lo farà funzionare e né la coppia telefonica/lavatrice è folle pressione alta/duche adeguata) l'atmosfera rilassata e confortevole compensato Holly e il resto del personale vi fanno sentire come viaggiate con la famiglia (ma non troppo vicina) - come cugini - in un modo buono. Così mi sentivo benvenuto e la camera e il letto erano comodi, collezionando tre dei loro piatti di marshmallow mi permettevano di ottenere un supporto di testa sufficiente e la piscina e lo sportello sono abbastanza buoni per un breve soggiorno. La cucina è sufficiente per fare le basi, ma ha tutto quello che ti serve, il grande frigo è grande. La zona isolata per cani è ben stabilita e a cui è stato accolto, tutte le passeggiate sono state regolarmente pulite di neve. Come colazione a buffet, ho pensato che fosse meglio della media in questo momento, con una piccola, ma ben scelta, che può coprire tutti i gusti e non era la solita tariffa a buffet riciclata.
