Hotel in zona Walmart Supercentre, Strathmore

We booked this hotel due to its proximity to the south Calgary Health campus where I was having surgery. Parking was complimentary. It is a 3 minute walk away. We booked a one bedroom executive suite. I was disappointed with the check in process and the time it took to get to our room. When we arrived there was a lineup and only one person working. After about 10 minutes another person started working which helped but some check ins were taking an excessive amount of time. (I am a Marriott rewards member so I had tried to checkin online but wasn’t able to. I was told it was because I had not stayed there previously. ). About 20 minutes later we were checked in but were not given access to the room yet. We had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes. It was 7 pm —- and we were tired. We just wanted to get to the room but we had to sit in the lobby and wait. My impatience must have showed because eventually we were told that the carpets had been shampooed and they wanted to ensure they were dry before allowing us to our room. I’m not sure why our room wasn’t ready earlier. It’s not like we were trying to check in early. I had indicated on the app when we were arriving and it was actually after my estimated time. Finally we were given our keys. It was at least a half hour of wasted time The room was very nice — vaulted ceilings, 1.5 baths, electric window coverings, nice decor. No balcony though. There were 3 TVs which seemed a little excessive. The bar area was nice with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, dishes and coffee maker. The shampoo etc. in the bathrooms were nice but those ridiculous little bottles weren’t even full. The coffee maker did not work. The bed was too low. The ventilation system was noisy and woke me up in the night when it cut in. We ordered food from the restaurant downstairs and my husband had breakfast in the restaurant in the morning. It was very good. Great workout room. We didn’t use the pool.

La posizione e il servizio sono i migliori.Il colazione è semplice ma buono.Specialmente se si sta facendo un viaggio d'affari a Calgary, ti consiglio di usarlo.

 Onestamente, l'hotel è in generale buono, non c'è una valutazione così eccellente, può solo dire che è un po'di guaio.La stanza è molto piccola e l'aria fredda non ha modo di andare a dormire.L'unica soddisfazione è che il divertimento della piscina è molto divertente, ma molte persone.  Abbiamo vissuto due notti, la sorella della stanza pulita non ha caduto nemmeno il cappuccio, non c'è fornitura di prodotti di consumo, e non c'è fornitura di acqua, e'molto deludente.  Non so se la qualità dell'hotel locale è anche piatta, o un evento individuale, ma non riesco a capire perché la valutazione sia così alta, non può essere paragonata alla qualità dell'hotel asiatico.

Stavamo andando in Messico e dovevamo passare la notte a Calgary. L'hotel aveva una navetta gratuita e era disponibile tutto il giorno in ore. La nostra camera era tranquilla e il personale eccellente. Il nostro soggiorno era breve ma ci sono stati trattati come il nostro business era apprezzato. Ci hanno informato che la nostra stanza era pronta per posta elettronica.Ha un ristorante sul sito con altre opzioni vicino.
