Hotel in zona The Greenway, Stratford-upon-Avon

Hotel molto bello e curato, abbiamo soggiornato durante un tour. Camera e bagno ampi e dotati di tutti i comfort. C'erano anche accappatoi e ciabattine. L'hotel ha un giardino spettacolare nel quale è possibile anche mangiare o fare un aperitivo. Noi avevamo la mezza pensione e abbiamo mangiato molto bene sia a cena, con scelta nei menu, che a colazione, presenti anche alternative vegane o come nel mio caso il latte di soia. Personale molto gentile. L'hotel si trova a due passi dal centro, ovvero dalla Shakespeare birthplace, un paesino molto carino e con dei negozietti caratteristici e particolari che ispirano allo shopping. Una gran bella esperienza.

Sono rimasto in questo hotel quattro volte, e purtroppo sono sempre stato deluso dal servizio di custodia. Ogni volta la stanza non era mai stata coperta di essenze, e le bianche erano rimaste piene, anche quando abbiamo messo fuori l'etichetta ”pulito la mia stanza”. Questa mancanza di attenzione da parte della custodia è stata frustrante. Quando ho fatto notizia della questione alla ricezione durante il mio ultimo soggiorno, Rejo dal gruppo di ricezione ha preso immediatamente le misure; è venuto personalmente nella nostra stanza e la ha pulita, assicurandosi che tutto fosse in ordine e rendendo la nostra permanenza molto più comoda. La sua risposta rapida e la sua dedizione alla soluzione della questione sono state molto apprezzate.

Il servizio è stato fantastico! C'è stato un errore con la distribuzione della stanza e, poiché la stanza prenota non era disponibile, siamo stati aggiornati in una suite che è stata meravigliosa mentre celebravamo un compleanno speciale. Il pranzo del ristorante Trevellyn era inaspettato, perché eravamo vegetariano e il pasto vegetariano preparato dal cuoco era fantastico. Era un fine settimana caldo durante il nostro soggiorno, e anche se non c'era aria condizionata, un piccolo fan fu fornito che faceva una piccola differenza quando dormiva la notte; i giardini avevano bisogno di un po' di mantenimento e sarebbe stato bello se le fontane fossero state lavorando. In generale, ci siamo divertiti e ci siamo impegnati a tornare dopo che è passato attraverso alcuni rinnovamento e riqualificazione.

We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we walked into reception. We bid for our stay as part of charity auction. The owners of Stratford park had donated a golf break of a night dinner, bed and breakfast and two rounds of golf in aid of Primrose Hospice. The junior suite is a lovely room, cozy and relaxing with luxury touches. Maz, the restaurant manager was attentive and looked after our every need. He gave great recommendations for food and wine and all was delicious. Golf - lovely course with wide fairways. Again friendly service from all. My challenge was to get over the water on 17th. I didn’t succeed so I will definitely go back.

Abbiamo avuto un bel soggiorno qui, le strutture sono davvero buone. Ci sono state piazzate la piscina e le aree di ginnastica, ci sono giochi all'aperto da giocare e i terreni sono bellissimi. Tuttavia, il servizio lascia molto da desiderare. Molti del personale sono molto giovani e, sebbene amichevole, il metodo di servizio è molto reattivo (l'abbiamo notato in altri pochi esami). Molti occhiali e piastre sono lasciati in giro, le tavole sporche non sono pulite mentre gruppi di personale sono in piedi in chiacchierata. Non mi dispiacerebbe tanto se non fosse un hotel 4/5 stella. Spesso il personale si dimentica di quello che chiederete e si aspetta dieci minuti per una cucina o latte con il vostro tè. Mentre il cibo è bello è piuttosto eccessivo - questo non ci ha disturbato tanto quanto avevamo il credito per cena, ma non avrei mangiato lì senza credito. Dopo aver detto che abbiamo avuto un buon pasto nel ristorante e il personale ha fornito un pudding come sorpresa per il mio compleanno che era un bel trattamento! In generale, ci rimanderemmo a restare di nuovo - ma non aspettare 5* servizio.

The hotel is generally good and the staff are attentive, but we would suggest avoiding the restaurant.  The hotel doesn't warrant a 4* with areas showing wear and tear such as water-damaged wood, mouldy seal in the bathroom, broken window locks, etc.  Our room was not ready when we arrived, so we were given a drinks voucher. After being advised our room was ready, we arrived at the room to find the maid still cleaning the room. The room included basic tea and coffee facilities and toiletries.  The pool/spa is limited and has a cold pool, a steam room, a sauna, and a gym.  We had booked into the restaurant for an evening meal, but when we arrived there was a table complaining about the food. They had sent their food back to the kitchen twice, and the staff were suggesting they send it back again. They walked out of the restaurant. Based on this, we thought we would order something that was pretty safe, so we ordered a burger and a chicken. However, the meat tasted cheap and of poor quality. The restaurant is charging gastro prices, but the quality is nothing better than Wetherspoons or worse. Again, the puddings were basic, with a vegan coconut ice cream that had an odd texture to it and a sticky toffee pudding that was no better than a cheap microwave pud. In our opinion, the staff were inappropriately dressed, with one waitress having such a short skirt that every time she moved you got to see more than you wanted. The bar staff were assisting in the restaurant, and one barman was dressed in hip-style jeans, which kept falling down. Although all very attentive and polite, it seemed that the hotel as a whole had very limited staff, with everyone just mucking in.  The breakfast was not much better than our evening meal. We arrived at 9.30am to find the milk, pastries, hot water, etc. had run dry. There was a selection of hot food, but once again the meat tasted cheap. The main waitress was incredibly young and either didn't communicate or spoke so incredibly quietly that you could not hear what she said.  At check out, we were not asked how our stay had been, and we felt that everything was done to avoid such communication.

Camera / strutture: La camera numero 19 è sul pavimento e è pulita. La camera è composta da 2 letti singoli, scrivania, sedia, ferro e tavolo, doccia (nessun tubo) in bagno, scrivania e sedia. Aria condizionata con una finestra aperta di circa 5 cm. La stanza non ha frigo. Sebbene dovremmo cambiare le stanze a causa di problemi di piombo, la nostra seconda stanza era molto funzionale e comoda. Parcheggio: Questo è disponibile a un costo supplementare di £3.50 per notte, l'immatricolazione dell'auto deve essere fornita al check-in. Anche se ci sono molti posti di parcheggio, è necessario arrivare all'hotel, con conseguente riempimento rapido degli spazi. Wifi: Complementare e buona velocità. Non è richiesta alcuna validazione o password. Fatto a colazione: Il buffet è da 6.30am a 9.30am e consiste di cereali, yogurt, pane (per tostare) giochi e diffusi, frutta fresca, pasticceria, uova, bacon, fette dolci, salsicce e marroni duri, succhi, tè /coffee. Il personale è molto attento a rimuovere le piastre e riempire gli oggetti alimentari. Un buon toccamento con un membro del personale viene intorno durante il colazione offrendo pasti dolci. Conclusione: Hotel centrale per viaggi di giorno in città circostanti o in città di Warwick. Molto bello personale, con un McDonalds fuori dalla porta. Scaduto: Nessuna struttura frigorifera, incoerente. Posizione / Vicino: La città di Warwick è una guida di 5 minuti. Altre città vicine sono 10-20 min di guida.

Nice looking pub with lovely river opposite Accommodation was round the back with separate door to enter which had a key code lock where a key to enter is stored in a box this was explained to us as the pub shuts early due to low season. We returned around 11:30pm put the code in and no key was in the box we then had to call an emergency number and somebody had to travel to us to let us in a bit inconvenient for both parties I’m just glad I wasn’t on my own as it’s in the middle of nowhere Rooms were fine bed clean etc but I think it should state very clearly that the rooms share a bathroom as I didn’t notice that and would not have booked knowing this , the apar**ent they have though is lovely and has ample room and it’s own bathroom. Beer was good Breakfast next morning was fine not worth though the £25 for 2 people as you get a cooked breakfast with tea or coffee that’s it it’s just brought to you no buffet option or juice cereal etc and some of it was a bit cold Staff were fine I would stay again as to be honest what we paid wasn’t a lot but I’d prefer to pay a bit more and have my own bathroom I’d also recommend just having a coded door not a key in a box as I gather this problem will happen often
