Hotel in zona St Matthew＇s Church, Stratford-upon-Avon

Nice looking pub with lovely river opposite Accommodation was round the back with separate door to enter which had a key code lock where a key to enter is stored in a box this was explained to us as the pub shuts early due to low season. We returned around 11:30pm put the code in and no key was in the box we then had to call an emergency number and somebody had to travel to us to let us in a bit inconvenient for both parties I’m just glad I wasn’t on my own as it’s in the middle of nowhere Rooms were fine bed clean etc but I think it should state very clearly that the rooms share a bathroom as I didn’t notice that and would not have booked knowing this , the apar**ent they have though is lovely and has ample room and it’s own bathroom. Beer was good Breakfast next morning was fine not worth though the £25 for 2 people as you get a cooked breakfast with tea or coffee that’s it it’s just brought to you no buffet option or juice cereal etc and some of it was a bit cold Staff were fine I would stay again as to be honest what we paid wasn’t a lot but I’d prefer to pay a bit more and have my own bathroom I’d also recommend just having a coded door not a key in a box as I gather this problem will happen often

Abbiamo avuto un bel soggiorno qui, le strutture sono davvero buone. Ci sono state piazzate la piscina e le aree di ginnastica, ci sono giochi all'aperto da giocare e i terreni sono bellissimi. Tuttavia, il servizio lascia molto da desiderare. Molti del personale sono molto giovani e, sebbene amichevole, il metodo di servizio è molto reattivo (l'abbiamo notato in altri pochi esami). Molti occhiali e piastre sono lasciati in giro, le tavole sporche non sono pulite mentre gruppi di personale sono in piedi in chiacchierata. Non mi dispiacerebbe tanto se non fosse un hotel 4/5 stella. Spesso il personale si dimentica di quello che chiederete e si aspetta dieci minuti per una cucina o latte con il vostro tè. Mentre il cibo è bello è piuttosto eccessivo - questo non ci ha disturbato tanto quanto avevamo il credito per cena, ma non avrei mangiato lì senza credito. Dopo aver detto che abbiamo avuto un buon pasto nel ristorante e il personale ha fornito un pudding come sorpresa per il mio compleanno che era un bel trattamento! In generale, ci rimanderemmo a restare di nuovo - ma non aspettare 5* servizio.

Welcoming staff, comfy bed and a quick walk to town. Went to visit Shakespeares house and have a tour around Stratford, convenient stay as the hotel was 15 minutes outside of the town, retail park across the road. Stayed for breakfast fairly priced and a standard set up of food.

The hotel was perfectly situated for the town and the theatre. Room was lovely & the bed & pillows dreamy! Staff were super friendly & helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t have breakfast as we had arranged to meet friends - but I’m sure it would have been wonderful!

L'hotel della piccola città di Shakespeare ha un caldo, molto caldo, una stanza un po'piccola, la stanza inglese non è molto grande, può arrivare a piedi da diversi punti di attrazione e bevare vicino.Anche se è stato per una notte, mi sento bene!

Il soggiorno è assolutamente perfetto. L'hotel si trova in una posizione idylica con il RSC Theatre direttamente al contrario sulle banche dell'Avon. Ciò che ha fatto davvero il viaggio è stato gli incredibili colleghi dell'hotel che si trovavano così alloggiando in tutto il mondo. Ci piacevamo il nostro soggiorno. Grazie mille.

Such a cute and lovely hotel at Shakespear’s town Just like how the name suggests, the location offers a central yard, green entrance through the car park and next to the river bank where tens of swans gather around for food. The hotel is very cute and offers good walking distance to most attractions in town, yet being tucked away from the noise of the bar street. The town is pretty much sleepy after 9pm but the hotel has a restaurant that runs till 11pm in case you’re still hungry at late night.

We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we walked into reception. We bid for our stay as part of charity auction. The owners of Stratford park had donated a golf break of a night dinner, bed and breakfast and two rounds of golf in aid of Primrose Hospice. The junior suite is a lovely room, cozy and relaxing with luxury touches. Maz, the restaurant manager was attentive and looked after our every need. He gave great recommendations for food and wine and all was delicious. Golf - lovely course with wide fairways. Again friendly service from all. My challenge was to get over the water on 17th. I didn’t succeed so I will definitely go back.

Il mio amico e io abbiamo soggiornato di recente 3 notti a Ettington Park. Abbiamo voluto provarlo per un po', quindi questa è stata la nostra prima visita. Abbiamo avuto una camera gemella (n. 33, camera Exec). Abbiamo trovato tutto il personale molto amabile e utile. Menzione speciale di Damon che ci ha mostrato gentile intorno all'hotel. Joe? (Bartender) fa i migliori cocktail. Veramente buono. 😊 Non abbiamo cenato nel principale ristorante, ma abbiamo mangiato nel bar il domenica sera quando siamo arrivati. Il cibo era bello, ma potevo fare con qualche scelta di veggie. Ho avuto il piatto di hummus mezze come non mi piaceva un hamburger di veggie. Purtroppo, poiché il mio amico non voleva condividere il piatto che era destinato al 2, c'era un po' di rifiuti che sarebbe stato buono da evitare. La stanza era spaziosa e pulita, e il candelabro di metallo che ho visto come un'armatura leggera, di solito, è una trappola di polvere, ma era senza spot e brillante. Anche i pannelli di scarpe erano privi di polvere che è molto raro in molti hotel, non importava mai una vecchia come questa, quindi mi sono impressionato molto con il livello di custodia. Un paio di punti costruttivi per la stanza: ci è uno splendido specchio quadrato valido sopra il fuoco, ma ci sembrano mancare diverse sezioni, esponendo legno semplice, anche se una sezione sembra essere stata dipinta in (oro). Sarebbe bello ripristinare lo specchio se possibile. Inoltre, finestra/silla/sedili potrebbe fare con un po' di riempimento e un colpo di pittura. Non sono un utente di piscina/spa, ma il mio amico è. Ha usato le strutture e ha prenotato anche un massaggio di ritorno. La sua scrivania di massaggio è stata con Tash e il mio amico ha detto che il letto era molto rilassante e il massaggio ha sollevato i nodi nel retro, così era molto felice. In futuro vorremmo certamente visitare nuovamente Ettington Park. :)

Molto impressionato con il soggiorno - il standard è sopra la maggior parte degli hotel 3 stelle. Credo che l'hotel sia stato ristrutturato (compresa la bagno) in modo che la camera sembra molto nuova e pulita. La camera è molto spaziosa e dotata di un bel letto. Forniscono tessuti faciali (sorpresa!) e il lavaggio del corpo è bellissimo. Ci siamo davvero divertiti.
