Premier Inn Stratford-Upon-Avon Central

Another great stay at premier central , what a difference the upgrades have made to the room we stayed in, very good wi-fi plenty of tea and coffee available with plenty of extra at reception,check in quick , staff always friendly, book early for best deals

Reception up three flights of stairs. Disabled lift available but not practical to use by other guests. The bed was the usual good standard but the room gave an impression of uncared for with curtains hanging off the curtain track. Not the usual Premier Inn standard.

This odd building had too many stairs, one extremely slow lift with a button you had to press continuously until you reached the reception or ground floor. If you took your finger off the lift would stop! We were given a typed A4 laminated sheet of paper as a menu for our evening meal. It made me apprehensive as to what the dinner would be like. The meal was cooked by a receptionist (?) definitely not a chef , but it was a surprisingly good meal. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was certainly central and we had easy access to where we wanted to go but we will not be staying there again. It’s the worst Premier Inn we have stayed at.

Excellent value for money. Clean and very comfortable. Near all the places to see. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Staff friendly and explained procedures for checking in and out. Bathroom exceptionally clean with plenty of towels plus soap dispensers. We paid £42 each for 2 double rooms. Parking off site, but not too far away, is the only drawback.

This has to be the worst designed hotel in the Premier Inn group. I was in room 15 in the basement to which you have to go up and down several sets of stairs and along many corridors to get to the room with the worst view I have ever experienced at a hotel. The hotels rooms are clean and comfortable (once you are able to get the heating turned on by the staff) and fine if you are just there to sleep. Sleep is what Premier Inns do best!!

The hotel is centrally located although parking is over 5 minutes walk away. The entrance a a bit of a faff as you have to go up four flights of stairs. The room was a good size and clean with good lighting. The shower flow was poor but the people at reception said it could not be improved!
