Knockinaam Lodge was a lovely place to visit with the added fun of a wonderful firework display for Halloween. We travelled to the area to visit family who joined us every night for a delicious dinner. The meals at Knockinaam were just fabulous, beautifully prepared, with perfectly-sized portions and pretty on the plate. The chef is marvelous. We caught the end of stormy weather so it was particularly windy on our weekend but the sun came out for a bit of sight-seeing and we visited Mull of Galloway lighthouse - fascinating bit of history and also had a quick wander thru Logan Botanical Gardens. The Lodge is an attractive country house in an impressive setting and is very comfortable with big rooms and fireplaces and great bathrooms.

This was our third visit to the lodge and, once again, we had a delightful stay. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The lodge retains all its vintage character and charm. We were in Pond and the room was very spacious and comfortable with an excellent bathroom attached. As always the food was outstanding! The wine list is amazing. The whole experience is brilliant! We will be back for a fourth time next year.

Lovely quiet hotel located beside their private beach with sea views across The Irish Sea. Home from home made special by very warm, friendly and attentive staff. A very special hotel for pure relaxation

A very special place indeed, on my own with 2 dogs who loved the grounds and direct access to the beach while I sat at the in the garden seating area and had a coffee. Callum and all staff are fantastic with very high standards and the food was outstanding with a 7 course dinner and breakfast included in my booking. The cost of my stay was very reasonable taking all things into consideration and I totally understand why people keep going back year after year.

Tranquility, excellent friendly service, superb food and a seaside location with views across the Irish Sea to the Northern Irish coastline. We had a wonderful few days and strongly would recommend Knockinaam Lodge

This is a truly wonderful establishment. It is set in a beautiful bay surrounded by stunning cliffs. The hotel rooms are well appointed with extremely comfortable beds. We stayed in Pond which has a fantastic bathroom and dressing room. The grounds are amazing and a shot walk to the beach reveals beautiful rock formations and interesting rock pools. We ate there each evening. The food is outstanding and varied. We were provided with an amazing picnic on one of the days for lunch at the Mull of Galloway - a wonderful experience. Staff are really lovely.

This off the beaten track hotel was a haven of calm. Stunning and spacious position. Well thought out inspiring menus at dinner and breakfast, attentive personable staff and a very cosy and beautiful room (Whin). Good clifftop walks. Other guests were charming too. For the reason we were there, we'll remember our stay for the rest of our lives. Excellent.

Perfect spot to end our holiday in Scotland. Very helpful, friendly staff. Attentive to our needs from morning to night. Located by the Irish Sea with sitting areas. Dinners and breakfasts were a first class dining experience. Love the scones and shortbread, too.Thank you for a lovely peaceful stay in the Churchill room. Hope to return in the future.
