Grande hotel, vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e al centro.

Il servizio di colazione è stato molto debole. Il personale - tre signore - non si preoccupava molto del buffet (le labbra di pane e le uova sgusciate erano vuote), ma l'ospite deve chiedere di riempirlo, anche se ci erano molti ospiti nella sala colazione. Inoltre, dovete andare al bar per chiedere te' caldo, caffè, ecc., come nessuno del personale si è sentito responsabile di andare al tavolo dell'ospite per chiedere se è desiderato tè caldo, caffè, ecc. Lo stesso vale per le piastre sporche sulle tavole. Nessuno del personale l'ha pulita. Per 100,00 EUR per una notte compresa la colazione - singola occupazione - in una città di dimensioni medie di Venlo posso aspettare un servizio ospite proattivo e attento! Probabilmente non consiglio Theaterhotel Venlo. P.S. : Nella sala colazione è molto redatto, perché non ci sono porte e fa parte del vasto lobby di accesso del teatro di Venlo. Quindi non molto accogliente!

Non più, non consigliabile! Camera di business prenotato, camera riceve. Polvere, pavimento di tappeto abitato, finestra difettosa, nelle prime ore non c'è acqua. 3 giorni non pulire le stanze, cambiare i guanti con la nota; metteteli sul pavimento, poi cambiate. Bene, l'altra mattina abbiamo potuto continuare a usare i guanti usati dal pavimento. Buffet per colazione solo per una dieta è sufficiente, non ci sono tavoli coperti, prendere caffè sul pannello della pompa, a seconda di una varietà di panini e pane. Butter da un colletto di gomma, alternativa: Margarina imballata. 2-3 Varieta di salsa, 2 Varieta di formaggio. La notte scorsa, la notte scorsa, la birra era rotta e si era disgustata a più chilometri della sala colazione, e non c'era bisogno di giochi, sapevamo che ci erano le ciliegie. Buffet sera; misteri di carne degli ospiti dell'hotel, gli altri cibi in parte inesociabili, perché papà, grigio, indefinibile. Anche qui il riposo è una fortuna. Ho fatto un'ultima stronzata di carne, e mi sono scusato con gli ospiti che sono stato felice. La terza serata del buffet era tutto freddo. La scusa per il personale amichevole, giovane, ma assolutamente eccessivamente richiesto, è stata: il capo è andato a comprare (sabato sera) e ha dimenticato di accendere i bruciatori di spirito. Ora basta. Siamo usciti da questa cassa di stronzate, non più di Grefrather Hof!

A group of six of us stayed at the Maashof hotel on what was the last night of a 10 day motorcycle tour and it was also my birthday. I had carefully chosen the hotel in the hope that we would have a lovely stay and dinner in a beautiful lakeside location. Unfortunately there were several issues which cast a significant shadow over my birthday celebrations and ruined our stay. The problems started when checking in when they overcharged two of my friends and they would have overcharged another friend and myself, had I not noticed and intervened. I had booked four single occupancy rooms and one double occupancy room and there was an administrative issue between *********** and the hotel which caused confusion over how many guests were staying in each room, despite the hotel having the names of the six guests against each booked room. All of us were asked when checking in how many guests were staying in each room, but despite this two friends were charged the double occupancy room rate and one friend was charged for two half board dinners despite them all being in rooms on their own. In addition, they also attempted to overcharge us for the half board option despite me accepting a special offer online which had been emailed to me prior to arrival. We then had a further major issue. Three of the rooms were directly underneath the kitchen and hotel entrance and were extremely noisy until very late in the evening and again the next morning starting around 5.30am which meant several of us had a very disturbed night. Two of my friends complained at the time and agreed with the duty manager that they would have the full cost of their room refunded, as he was unable to offer them an alternative room. He advised them that if we had wanted better, quieter rooms we should have booked directly with the hotel rather than through *********** and he told my friend to email the Reservations Manager regarding the refund. The hotel management have admitted that the rooms we stayed in are very noisy, but there was no mention of this when we booked and they still charged the full room rate. On our return to the UK, I emailed the Reservations Manager and following many exchanges she offered a 25% refund for the three rooms most affected by the noise, despite the duty manager’s earlier promise of a full refund. Personally I thought this paltry offer did not provide sufficient remuneration for the problems we encountered but I felt I had no choice but to accept. I subsequently provided my bank details in an email but the refund was not forthcoming. I chased regularly by email as to why the refund was taking so long only to be told cross-border, cross-currency bank transfers take a long time and ”it will arrive within a few days” and then “as soon as possible”. Despite these repeated assurances it took 3 weeks for me to receive the refund and only then after several more emails including to the hotel General Manager who at one point decided to attack my pe

We made this a stopover in our way to the Harz Mountains and it was a total treat - relaxed elegance. Would have liked to have stayed longer to explore the gardens next door and the ceramic museum. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, pretty terrace and picturesque moat. Only downside was they had fully booked the restaurant so we had to go elsewhere but this turned out to be a good move! Wir haben mit unserem Kleinkind ein Zimmer gebucht, um zwei Tage im nahe gelegenen Park Irrland zu verbringen. Bis zum Einchecken hatte ich lediglich eine Reservierungsbestätigung mit Buchungsnummer und QR Code (meiner Erfahrung nach zum Check in) erhalten. Abends gegen 19Uhr standen wir nun mit müdem Kleinkind vor geschlossener Tür - Von einem Code für den Schlüsseltresor stand weder auf der Internetseite noch in der Mail etwas (laut Internetseite sei die Rezeption wochentags bis 22Uhr besetzt). Ich rief bei der Hotline an, hier war ich 2x insgesamt über 10min in der Warteschleife und wurde beide Male aus der Leitung geworfen. Andere Gäste im Inneren haben uns in die Lobby gelassen und reichten uns die nette Mitarbeiterin am Telefon weiter (nachdem sie übers Telefon der Rezeption über das Partnerhotel eine Karte codiert bekamen). Uns sollte über die Hotline auch eine der auf dem unordentlichen Tresen liegenden Karten codiert werden, was nicht funktionierte, sodass wir vor verschlossener Zimmertür standen. Also mit dem mittlerweile übermüden Kleinkind wieder zum Telefon in die Lobby und weitere Minuten in der Warteschleife. Nachdem uns die Mitarbeiterin noch einmal die Karte codiert hatte, konnten auch wir den Hörer direkt an die nächsten Gäste weiterreichen, die vor verschlossener Tür standen und ebenfalls nicht wussten was sie tun sollten. Nach über 45Minuten konnten wir endlich ins Zimmer. 2 Sterne gibt es nur für das Frühstück des angrenzenden Restaurants - hier war man sehr bemüht und es war sehr lecker. Was ist das für eine Organisation und für welchen Service zahlt man hier über 130€ die Nacht? Eine Rückmeldung des Hotels auf meine Beschwerde gab es übrigens auch nicht - wohl aber die Abbuchung nur 30Minuten nach dem telefonischen Check-Out, da auch morgens die Rezeption nicht besetzt war.
