Timberholm Inn

Such a cozy and warm place to stay, we will be back! Comfortable bed and clean room with delicious little chocolate treats to greet you. The shared living room/breakfast area has the best atmosphere with a beautiful mountain view to sit and enjoy breakfast by Hannah with a hot cup of coffee. Thank you so much for the lovely stay and blackberry crumble muffins! P.S. the hot tub out back under bistro lights and a soft snowfall was such a treat after a day of cross country skiing and riding.

We loved staying at the Timberholm Inn, we stayed in a smaller room but it was very cozy and breakfast the next morning was amazing! I was able to enjoy my coffee with a incredible view and Hannah, Innkeeper, is a fantomal cook. It was the perfect night in the mountains. We cannot wait to come back!

What an extraordinary place. Upon entering the Timberholm Inn, a sense of warmth and coziness envelops you. Hannah, the innkeeper, embodies the essence of an exceptional host. My opinion on scones has been newly ignited, especially after savoring the exquisite Maple Scone - truly delightful and tender. Relax and bask in the warmth of the fire in the main room. Conveniently located near Stowe yet distanced from the bustling village, it offers the perfect retreat. You will not be disappointed.

Neat and comfy room, attention given to every detail. Delicious breakfast, eggs and bacon, coffee cake, melon, in a charming, old-paneled ski-lodge room with a great fireplace, and a great view. Up the hill from the main road on a low traffic lane, north of town center, no noise. You'll love it. Take the Moscow cut-off to avoid traffic in town center. Hannah cooks well!

We were looking for a Bed & Breakfast near Stowe and it didn't disappoint. We stayed room 6 the Willow room. Positives: The inn was only a few minutes from downtown. Most of the places to eat were very busy so you should make a reservation if you don't want to have to wait. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our bedroom window. The room had all the things you would need in a hotel room. It had a place to hang our clothes, a dresser, a suit case rack, TV, and tables with lamps by each side of the bed. One table had a hub for plugging in phone charging Cables and plugging in other items. The walls are thin and so they provided a sound machine which was very nice. The bathroom had a tub shower combo. They had a couple of shelves to put our things on near the sink and they had several hooks for hanging towels and other items. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed getting to visit with the other guests. The hot tub was very nice and they had large towels we could use. The back of the Inn had a beautiful view of the mountains. Negatives: The bed in our room was high and was difficult for this short legged lady to get into. There is a room above this room and you could hear the people moving around and talking, but fortunatly they were not very loud. It would have been nice to have a hub or electric outlet on both sides of the bed. It would have been nice to have directions for the hot tub as it was a little confusing on how to get all the jets turned on.

The atmosphere is rustic which is expected for a 1949 building. Parts of it, was remodeled like our bathroom but the rest of it was classic rustic which I guess is what one might expect in an old ski lodge. Typically, we stay in an updated place due to our disabled son, our amount of electronics, etc. however, there was a car show in town and this was the only availability we could find. The room had a good size sitting room with a magnificent view of the grounds and the mountains as a backdrop. The bedrooms were cramped. The walls were thin and they are aware of this because each room came with a sound machine to help with noise. It gave us a feel like we had when we were going to camp as a kid. There was not enough receptacles to plug in all of our electronics for overnight charging plus my C-Pap. The BR did not have enough room to have a nightstand on my side so I had to use the dresser drawer for my c-Pap. The room was clean. The saving grace for Timberholm Inn is the lovely innkeeper, Hannah and her two boys. She is a fantastic hostess and a phenomenal cook. She and her boys were lovely and we enjoyed our time spent with them. Her hospitality made us forget our disappointment in the room.
