The Lodge at Spruce Peak, Part of Hyatt

We were on our way to Montreal from our home near Brattleboro, VT (the extreme southern part of Vermont) and wanted to break up the trip with a night at Spruce Peak. This was our first stay there and I think we'll make that into a regular midway stay. The room was quiet, the dinner and breakfast were quite good and all the people working there genuinely seemed happy to work there and were very personable. We'll make this a regular stay on way up to Montreal which we usually do twice a year.

We did not like the food choices. Was surprised by the undisclosed report fee reveled at checkout. Extreme distance from lobby to room. Otherwise, lovely property friendly staff and wonderful outdoor environment.

This is a most beautiful and scenic property with gorgeous facilities and a most gracious staff.

Met our expectations, staff were always on their “A“ game. Pool was fun but temperature could have been warmer.

The hotel has a lot going for it – it's neat, tidy, and sits right next to a ski resort, making it a potentially perfect getaway spot. But, here's the catch: my room, along with several others, was uncomfortably close to the loading and unloading area. Imagine trying to catch some z's while trucks and vans make their presence known almost all night long. It was a relentless cycle that made sleeping a real challenge. The hotel's solution? Handing out earpods. Yep, that's it. While the gesture was appreciated, it hardly made up for the lack of peace and quiet. Honestly, I wouldn't book a stay there again. The noise issue was a deal-breaker for me.

Great hotel the location is right in the middle of the ski area. The staff is fantastic

Very nice and pleasant staff. Property was beautiful but a little large, although it had all the conveniences and amenities you need. Our room was great- a studio, but was a long walk from everything, although it was very quiet, large , and had a gorgeous view of the mountains. You must use the Valet, the price was included in our stay, or you could self park for a fee and it was a short walk from the hotel. The valet process was quick and had very easy access to our car whenever needed . We did ski , but this property is not a true “ ski in ski out”- we had to take the Gondola at the hotel across the way to the ski mountain which was still ok with us , but you can’t just put on your skis and ski on the mountain. The outdoor skating rink was nice, we did not use but the kids looked like they were having fun. We did not try the outdoor heated pool but it looked nice, especially at night . Overall , great place to stay with plenty to do even if you don’t ski !

Hotel was amazing! Convenience to skiing was worth the price of the stay. Amenities were amazing, spa, pool, gym. One word of caution, the 2 restaurants are overpriced for the quality of food and service there. We did wish there were more food options on location.

The staff was nice and all but the restaurants was terrible the food so bad and service was horrible. At the end of our stay they ended up charging me fees that I was never informed about or told. Horrible will never come back to this place and never recommend to any one.
