"For the solo cyclist this accommodation is close to the main Stornoway shopping area and about 20-25 mins walk from the Lewis Castle estate. The accommodation is also not very far from the Stornoway ferry to Ullapool. The room was comfortable, without having been recently refurbished as other properties across the Outer Hebrides have been. I didn't feel cold in the room and owing to a bout of my IBS - NOT caused by the guest house - I was awake and out of bed for a siginificant portion of the night. The shower space and shower are good, but shared. The toilet also. The dog is intermittanly vocal, but kept apart from the guests, whom I am sure it gives notice of, but with whom I am sure it would prefer to be involved. This being essentially a B&B, your dinner will be out. Stornoway, though, has a number of what I believe are good eateries. There are also a Co-Op and Tesco nearby. "

"Great location, lovely hotel. Room was absolutely perfect. It was really clean, quiet and cosy. Customer Service was really good when I checked in and checked out. The only thing I would say negatively is its quiet expensive for a Room Only basis. If they offered Corporate Rates I would come here every time I am working Stornoway."

"Con un volo mattinale da Stornoway, pensavo che avrei passato la mia ultima notte nelle vicinanze degli Ebridi esterni, piuttosto che a partire da Harris, a sud. Devo dire che l'interazione tra la proprietaria Linda e il suo nome in vita è stata davvero apprezzabile. Mi fu offerta una stanza sul retro, mentre leggevo alcune recensioni che erano state disturbate dal rumore del traffico sul fronte, ma mi fu sconvolta l'offerta di una bella grande stanza sul fronte con un confortevole sedile. La casa degli ospiti ha anche un grande salotto con una grande TV. La camera da letto è splendida con i mobili moderni e belle tovalette fluffy. Ho sempre apprezzato l'attenzione di un posto per i dettagli dalla tavola del tè - e questo è stato uno dei migliori. Il tè erbaceo e normale, il cioccolato caldo, il caffè e un po' di panino di Stornoway. Il wifi, che si supponeva fosse stato fissato quel giorno, non funzionava affatto nella mia stanza, il che significava che la TV intelligente non era affatto intelligente. Quello che avevo letto sul rumore stradale era assolutamente giusto. Non piacevole, soprattutto dopo la tranquillità totale del sud Harris. Con la colazione che non si presentava all’ora del mio colazione, Linda si mise a sbattere le mie uova e le mie salsicce grille e il pudding nero di Stornoway di Charles MacLeod, letteralmente intorno all’angolo. Ma preferisco ancora il signor Munro da Tarbert.Un posto amichevole, ma assicurati di avere una stanza al retro!"
