Premier Inn Stevenage Central

A very welcoming and pleasant stay at this premier inn. Charlie and the team always go the extra mile to make sure everything is cared for which makes this premier inn stand out. Thank you for all your kind help. The hotel also has an excellent central location and is always very clean and well maintained.

My stay here was just what I hoped for, relaxing and attentive, the staff; Ellis and Charlie were on hand for when I first checked in, they listend to my questions and made sure that I got to my room swiftly. I would recommend staying here if you want a positive environment as I couldn't fault the service.

Big shout out to the receptionist who checked us in last Saturday. She did everything possible to accommodate us knowing we had had a long trip and arrived early. Very friendly and personable. The room had everything we needed and breakfast was easy to book onto the next morning. Looking forward to our stay again in June.

Lovely service. Young man called Ellis was very helpful. Manged to make 4 poached eggs and work the front of house. Eggs were excellent and his first time making them. Really put himself out when most would have said they couldn't do them as there's no chef. Definitely worth a good review.

I arrived in the hotel at 23:10. Had to wait 5 minutes for staff to come and help me with check in. After asking my details, they informed me that I was already checked in and asked me if I had arrived earlier. I replied that I had just arrived and hoped that nobody else would be in my room. I was given my card-key to go to room 104. When I stepped out of the door, the card-key was not working as someone else was already in - could hear the noise from the TV. I went back to the reception to let them know. They were really confused about what happened. They apologised and gave me another room on the ground floor after I had to wait for another 5 minutes. The room did not meet my expectations and I was under the impression that my ''original'' room was better. I went to complain to reception and asked to provide me the contact details to communicate my terrible experience to the manager. The man in the reception told me not to email, as the email would be received by the staff thay messed up and would never reach to the manager. Instead, he advised me to call to a number and complain there. I've tried on multiple occasions, but could not catch a line. Generally the staff in the reception looked fairly inexperienced and could say that the hotel was under staffed. This was by far my worst experience on a hotel

My partner and I use this hotel regularly and the staff are always very polite and helpful. Today we checked in for a few days as my partner isn’t well and even though the tele didn’t work in the room the staff moved us straight to a different room and offered us free breakfast to compensate. Wasn’t a problem to move rooms but the general manager was super efficient and helpful. We love staying here, comfy beds also!
