Best Western Plus Franciscan Square Inn and Suites Steubenville

I was in a 3rd floor room with my family. I don’t know who was upstairs in 4th floor room, but the noise from the people in the room upstairs made our stay extremely unpleasant. Incessant sounds of moving furniture, chairs, or luggage (?) for hours on end including over over 2 hours in middle of night kept us from sleeping well. At first we thought it was housekeeping since it was at 3 - 5 PM but it didn’t stop. When I go to a hotel I might read a book, watch TV , take a shower , not rearranging the furniture in my room for hours on end. What is wrong with people these days? Did Sisyphus stay upstairs from us?

Not the least expensive yet best place to stay as much nicer in all ways than the Wyndham hotel down the street

This place was absolutely cozy quiet safe the beds were comfy pillows room was quiet Breafast was soooo good 👍 clean place friendly staff check in was quick and easy warly check in in is based on availability on date a chill place to stay when away from home restaurants walkable on site only 1 thing the pool was ehhh we did not use but to sleep Exellent

It was a really nice place to stay and the breakfast was super helpful for people who need to grab a quick bite before heading out for the day. I thought the common areas were great for hanging out in during the day or evening. Our extended family was in town and we watched the masters in the lounge area while some other people were playing cards in the breakfast area. My family swore that the sheets in our rooms were the most comfortable they'd ever slept on and I thought the coffee in the room was good. My only complaint was that the floor of our bathroom was filthy. I noticed when we got there that it looked like the cleaning people weren't sweeping or cleaning the perimeter of the room from under the sink cabinet, behind the toilet, to the shower (at least 8" from the wall). I accidentally knocked a hand towel off the rack and onto the floor and when I picked it up it had a filthy dust bunny hairball stuck to it....Eeeew!!! Needless to say I kept slippers on the whole weekend while in the room.

Unsuspecting charm! This place is beautiful with dining just steps away. The views are stunning.

Quiet, clean, decent free breakfast. Convenient to Franciscan University but we were there for 3 days due to a funeral. Most of the out of town relatives all ended up there. Absolutely will be my go to hotel when visiting Steubenville.
