Best Western Sundowner

We booked a one night stop here while traveling. The hotel could use some TLC on the outside - curb appeal, general upkeep and modernization would be helpful, but the service was great, the room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the price was fair. They offer nice amenities with both an indoor and heated outdoor pool, fitness room, guest laundry, cookies & tea/coffee/water in the lobby near the front desk, and complimentary hot breakfast. Rooms on the main floor have direct outdoor access from the parking lot which is nice if you have heavy luggage or more than one overnight bag. Dinner recommendations from the desk staff were excellent. We used points to book our room as Best Western Loyalty Points Members and received a welcome bag with water and snacks which is always appreciated. We slept well and woke ready for the next day’s travels.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a perfect stay! I booked a king suite with a jacuzzi and it was everything I hoped for — clean, comfortable, and such a relaxing vibe. The room was spacious and the jacuzzi was the perfect touch after a long day. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which just made the experience even better. I genuinely had a blast staying here — from check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and easy. If you're looking for comfort, great service, and a little pampering, this Best Western is 100% the place to go. I’ll definitely be back! 💛🛁

We needed a late night overnight stay. We researched during our drive. Read reviews, checked prices. Called BW and spoke to Ryan. He was amazing. Gave us our choice of rooms pointing out how we could save $$ and showed us the room upon arrival before any charges incurred. And since there was no elevator, he helped carry out luggage! Made sure we had fresh coffee in the lobby and engaged in very nice conversation. The world needs more people like Ryan. Thank you Ryan and BW for truly putting your customers first!

Came down to the breakfast area to use the restroom as to not wake my friend. The door was locked and I could tell the lights were out. Had a staff person come to unlock the door, as she began to open it, an arm reached out and grabbed the door shut! My adrenaline shot through the roof.. The staff person seemed very alarmed but said it wasn’t the first time this has happened to her! She said the homeless people will stay overnight in the bathrooms sometimes. Brutal for her and obviously I’m paying over $178 to stay here only to be freaked out by someone who stayed here for free. The hotel in general is unkempt, water empty in exercise room. Our room smelled of an animal’s accident as well.

Bed was comfortable after a long day on the road, staff is very professional and courteous. Breakfast available with all the regular options. Many eating options a short drive away. Easy quick highway access, with several gas stations near by.

I'm not giving it five stars because of the service, although everyone was helpful and cheerful. I'm not giving it five stars because of the room quality, although it was quite comfortable, well-maintained, with robust wifi. I'm not giving it five stars because of location, even though it is very handy from the interstate and just three minutes away from my business being conducted downtown. I'm giving it five stars because of the stellar breakfast. The eggs were fluffy and delicious, the sausage very tasty, and along with biscuits, they offered both delectable sausage gravy AND green chili for smothering. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Gave me a great start to the morning. You got it clicking on all fronts here. Keep up the good review.
