Steeles Tavern Manor

We stayed at the Pond View Cabin as repeat guests. This has become a favorite retreat for us to enjoy the sounds of nature while still being surrounded by comfort and amenities. It is a great spot for birders and fishermen alike. The outside deck is spacious and has a hot tub, and the interior of the cabin is modern yet cozy, with a full kitchen, luxurious bedding, a fireplace, and a bathroom with a jacuzzi. The innkeepers Dana & Trey are very friendly and accommodating, ensuring all expectations are exceeded.

This B & B has something for every type of traveler. Peaceful, Quiet, and Relaxing with it’s beautiful property and history. But also lots to see and do such as hiking trails (Crabtree Falls, Natural Bridge State Park), wineries, breweries, shops, and so much more. The innkeepers are so friendly, informative, and genuinely care about their guests! Highly recommend!

Our Travel Agent -Travel with ChyAnn,LLC booked my husband & I on a getaway for our 38th Anniversary in the mountains. She nailed it! The cabin was in a secluded area that over seen the mountains. There were cows & Deers that greeted us! Will be back. Thank you Steele Tavern Manor!

Steeles Tavern Manor is an absolute gem! My husband and I had the pleasure of staying three nights, starting with one night in the Shenandoah Room and then moving to the Mountain View Cabin for the next two nights. Both experiences were nothing short of spectacular and made our 27th wedding anniversary celebration truly memorable. Our stay began in the Shenandoah Room, where we enjoyed a delightful evening. The next morning, we were treated to an incredible breakfast. Dana and Trey truly go above and beyond, serving a phenomenal breakfast that is the perfect start to your day. The coffee is fantastic, and Trey’s lattes and cappuccinos, made from scratch, are a special treat. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the Mountain View Cabin. We were also celebrating my husband's birthday, and Dana added a special touch by arranging a birthday cake from a local bakery – talk about next-level hospitality! The cabin itself is stunning, with an incredibly comfortable bed that ensured we got a great night’s sleep. After our hike to Crabtree Falls, the hot tub and jacuzzi provided much-needed relaxation, and the spectacular view from the cabin was simply breathtaking. This was our first visit to Steeles Tavern Manor, but it certainly won’t be our last. We can’t wait to return and experience the warm hospitality of Dana and Trey again. Highly recommend this wonderful retreat for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the best of both worlds!

We had an amazing stay at Steeles Tavern Bed and Breakfast while celebrating our anniversary. We were looking for a charming place with beautiful scenery, less than 2 1/2 hrs away from DMV. I couldn’t be more grateful that this gem showed up in my search. Dana and Trey’s hospitality is incredible—their level of attention to detail during our stay made it so special. The house and surroundings are beautiful, and the town and its people are incredibly welcoming. There is so much to do in the area (coffee shops, lavender farm, historical places, trails, waterfalls, wineries, etc. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious. I already booked my next trip!

We loved the Mountain view cabin booked through Steele Tavern Manor! Perfect little modern cabin with all needed amenities surrounded with a beautiful Mountain View and fields with visits from cows and deer. The sunsets and star filled sky were stunning views from porch and hot tub in the evenings! Dana the innkeeper so very kind helpful! We enjoyed hiking, biking and kayaking during our stay and several wineries nearby! Highly recommend!

Such a nice place with helpful innkeepers. Our room was large and clean. Breakfast was delicious and we met many other nice coupes during our stay. This is a great location if you have a student at W&L. There are lots of nice hiking trails and things to do nearby.

Dana and Trey truly made our stay at the Pond View Cabin so enjoyable! All the amenities you could need for a stay were carefully thought of and provided. The cabin itself was so comfortable and the view was so serene. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub as we enjoyed natures sounds. Would definitely recommend and we intend on returning in the near future!

Trey and Dana are the perfect hosts. . House is beautiful, very charming, very romantic,. Room was very generous, very clean, and wonderful. The food was gourmet and the breakfast bread pudding was to die for. absolutely must stay if you are in the area
