Paradice Hotel Luxury Suites-Near Zorbas Beach-Free Breakfast

I only stayed for 2 nights in this quiet hotel. Starting with the staff who were just lovely and helpful right till the very end. I honestly appreciate the breakfast organised for me due to my early departure. Room was nice and of a good size. The breakfast I did manage to enjoy was also very nice. The place was very quiet, the few other guests I met were very pleasant as well. They have a huge pool which I did not have time to use. It’s a short walk (15mins) to the beach where there are a few restaurants. i had a fantastic meal down there. A couple of small super markets can be found close by (5mins walk). Can’t recommend this place enough despite my short stay. I am curious to know if it’s usually this quiet or maybe just getting to the end of the summer season considering the amount of deck chairs around the place and the size of the pool which I could have had all to myself. I still hope to be back one day.

This hotel is a hidden treasure!!!! I cannot say enough about the fabulous accommodations, pools, restaurant and breakfast. Staff are so welcoming and the owner personally overseas every little detail. The owner loves the hotel and what she does. Her passion comes thru to ensure your every need is met!! Location is great!!!! Close to Soudo Naval Base, Airport, villages with excellent food, the beach, Triada Monestary, Hiking trails and so much more!!! I will definitely come back just to stay here and see more of Crete..

Just returned from an 8 night stay. The hotel is small and welcoming. I cannot fault the staff at all. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They are always carrying out a variety of duties. They booked our boat trip, the taxi to the monastery and kept us topped up with ice for our drinks!! Breakfast is cooked fresh for you every day. There was plenty to eat to the point we asked for no toast and no cake!! Our room served its purpose. It was comfortable and clean. The pool was inviting and needed as temperatures were high!! There is a bus to Chania which runs every 2 hours and it's a 10-20 minute walk to the mini marts, Zorbas Beach and reasonably prices restaurants. The only thing that needs updating are the pictures and hotel description on all the websites as some are out of date and misleading.

We already miss this lovely place and their hospitality. We stayed in April when things in Crete are only just opening up for tourists. Vicky and Ekaterina went above and beyond to recommend places to eat or visit, calling in advance to check what was open. We have never encountered such unbelievably friendly and helpful service at a hotel. It was a wonderful experience for the whole family and we will be back!

The resort is fantastic, with large rooms and a lovely pool. But what stands out the most are the two lovely hosts, Vicky and Katerina. They go so far above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy. I knew I was going to love my stay before I even arrived. When speaking with Vicky over ***********, she was so polite and so attentive, she organised a taxi to pick me up from the airport and despite me not arriving at the resort until gone 0400, she was waiting there to give me a room key and provide me a bed to rest in despite the fact that my check in should have been from 1330 onwards on that day. When my luggage did not arrive they were able to provide me with a list of shops in the nearby town of Chania where I could replace what I needed. They are so caring and kind that when I simply mentioned I was planning on doing some day long hikes, they offered right away to make me a packed lunch for each of my trips (and it was delicious!). Whenever I needed a taxi somewhere (even in the early hours of the morning) Vicky would call them up and organise one for me right away. Breakfast is freshly made each morning and it was always delicious and different for each day, with plenty of food there to keep you going. I would talk about how lovely the beach is and the other facilities at the resort, but those are well detailed on this page already. So, I think the most important take away from my review is that you will not find more considerate, kind, attentive, hard working, friendly, and knowledgeable hosts anywhere else. Vicky and Katerina will make your stay the best you could possibly have. To avoid this review from becoming too long, I will end it here. But trust me when I say that I could go on and on about how much Vicky and Katerina do to accommodate and see to your every request as best as they possibly can. And a big thanks to the other staff who made my stay so fantastic as well!

FAUX 4 *, suite qui est une simple chambre avec une minuscule salle de douche. La chambre était très sale, le sol dégueulasse, la salle de douche sale, les tables de nuits sales avec des miettes de nourriture de l’ancien occupant, miroir sale, papier-peint qui se décolle partout. Porte d’entrée vitrée avec un grand autocollant boursouflé par la chaleur. Cette chambre se presente sous la forme d’un baraquement. Petit-déjeuner : contenu choisi par les employés de l’hotel au jour le jour et non par les clients, la table de la salle du petit-déjeuner était vide. Nous n’avons pas pu les consommer car leur choix minimaliste nous ne convenait pas. Forte odeur de moisi un peu partout dans l’hotel. Prix de la « suite de luxe » (chambre banale et sale ressemblant à une caverne) de 150€/nuit. Le personnel en avait rien à faire que la chambre n’avait pas été nettoyée au check-in et le responsable nous a dit d’aller ailleurs si cela nous plaisait pas. Cette chambre n’a jamais été nettoyée pendant notre séjour, ni essuies changé, lit pas fait, papier de toilette non fourni, poubelle non vidée. A fuir !!
