Il Yun Wai Mountain Residence è altamente raccomandato. L'hotel si trova presso il punto panoramico di Qiongtai, a circa 300 metri dalla base della funivia e a 50 metri dalla fermata dell'autobus, a un'altitudine di quasi 1000 metri. Questa è una posizione ideale per esplorare Wudangshan. Il personale è eccezionalmente cordiale e molto disponibile. Sono rimasto ripetutamente e piacevolmente sorpreso da quanta cura tutti dedicassero a uno straniero che non conosceva il cinese. Il ristorante dell'hotel offre specialità locali e taoiste. Il cibo è eccellente. L'atmosfera è elegante e meditativa. Le camere sono spaziose con fantastiche viste sulle montagne. Mi sono sentito molto a mio agio per una settimana: non mi è mancato nulla. Bonus: anche i cinque gatti si prendono cura degli ospiti in modo eccellente, soprattutto durante le passeggiate serali. If you don’t speak the local language, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. It was incredibly difficult getting both on, and off the mountain “scenic area”. Some hotels in Trip reached out to us in advance to help coordinate transportation, this one does not. Your only way to contact the hotel is by calling, which isn’t feasible if you don’t speak the language. The hotel website showed that parking was available, so I thought we would be able to get there by DiDi, as long as I paid the fee to get the car into the park. This was not the case. We did see private vehicles, but I’m not sure what goes into that, but I believe 4 wheel drive is one requirement. So with our luggage, he dropped us off at the base of the mountain. It took a little while to get to the ticket office, you have to walk up several stairs and through a cobblestone market to get there, so we got nice and sweaty and uncomfortable. From there, you take a bus (ours had no underside luggage stowage) about halfway up to another stop. We had to awkwardly hold our luggage in the aisle of a full bus, while going up-hill and doing switch-backs. Everyone gets off about halfway-way up, at a station with several different buses. We asked for help and someone pointed us to the correct one. From the final bus stop up top, it was a short walk to the hotel. We figured going down would be much smoother, but after getting off the first bus, we accidentally got on the wrong one and started going back up. Overall, took us about 2.5 hours from the airport to the hotel, then just over three hours from hotel to the HSR station. Minor descriptions for the room were inaccurate. Ours was listed as on floor 3 or 4, it was actually basement level. The hotel is in the edge of the mountain, so it still had a scenic view. The window in our room was dirty (I expected more for what we were paying). The hand soap in the bathroom was in a re-used bottle and was watered down. Listed amenities said sauna and massage room, there are neither here (nor was there an offer of other local places to go when I asked). The breakfast food was amazing, including a hot, fresh bar with a chef making eggs and noodles. I wasn’t able to partake in the noodles one day because of the language barrier. Hotel staff was more hesitant than other places we’ve stayed in using translation tools and I felt like too much of an inconvenience in using them to ask for noodles. There is bottled water in the rooms, you can ask for more for free (they friended me via WeChat on Check-In and is largely how we communicated). There is free tea and snacks in the afternoon, the hotel was quiet so we were able to take up one of two seats that had an amazing view outside. The staff working the tea time was great and super courteous. You can hike to South Crag Palace and Nanyan Palace by foot, both are absolutely stunning. In summary, if we were to visit the area again, I would stay at a hotel at the bottom of the mountain (not in the scenic area) and use the day exploring/getting lost on the bus. While the view was great, it simply wasn’t worth the high price and the difficulty in getting there for non-locals. If I knew a hotel in the scenic area would reach out to me in advance to assist, then I would go for it. But unfortunately, with the way Trip.com works right now, hotels have to initiate that, guests cannot. I don’t recommend this hotel for non-native speakers.

Instead the workers don't speaks English or other language likes is usual on China, my experience was the best. They have made everything to makes me feel confortable and we could communicate In different ways, using translators, or gestures or a little words on Mandarin and English.. I feel them really like a family now especially Lidan, one great woman that was my guard angel there and teach Taichi and Guquin on that place and Shao Hu who takes me to the hospital when I was ill. It's a good place to get immerse on China culture. You can also learn calligraphy or take lesson's about Tea sommelier not only martial Arts.. It is more than a hotel. You can have a nice experience there and is near Wudang mountain. They also sell tea and clothes.

非常非常推薦。 在景區內南巖的酒店，交通方便，門口就是乘車點，風景特別好，房間乾淨，服務特別好特別貼心，每次出去回來之後前台會特別熱情地邀請我去烤火，也會主動説幫我準備泡腳桶驅寒氣。因為我是單獨一個女生出行，有天晚上聽到隔壁有男人喝多了比較吵的聲音，晚上給前台發消息説希望隔壁安靜一點，前台立刻秒回，説考慮我的安全給我換個附近沒有人住的房間。 前台小姐姐非常體貼，我住的時間比較長，偶爾還會送我一些吃的或者水果之類的。我去的時候正好馬上要下雪，我不知道哪裡有賣冰爪，前台小姐姐還會幫我去問哪裡有賣的，幾乎可以説是有求必應。 我離開前想吃羊肉火鍋，酒店菜單上沒有但是服務員阿姨還幫我跑上跑下地去跟廚房的主廚説，讓我可以不用出酒店就能吃上想吃的東西。早餐的青菜也炒得蠻好吃的。 每天會根據我的行程確定什麼時候吃早飯，什麼時候叫我起床，什麼時候打掃房間衞生，特別好的一次住房體驗。

Un hotel da non perdere quando si visita il monte Wudang. L'ambiente è bellissimo. La signora alla reception è molto entusiasta. La camera è pulita e ordinata con servizi completi vestiti la sera prima e il giorno dopo sono andato nel punto panoramico per asciugare i vestiti bagnati. Gan mi ha rimandato in camera e ha lasciato un messaggio, che mi ha fatto sentire a casa. La colazione era ricca e gli spaghetti caldi e asciutti erano deliziosi . La prossima volta sceglierò di soggiornare al Wudangshan Hotel.

L'hotel è proprio dove scendi dall'autobus panoramico. Molto facile da trovare. L'ambiente all'interno è molto buono e all'interno ci sono case intelligenti. Il proprietario è così gentile! Non ho fatto in tempo a fare colazione quando sono scesa dalla montagna la mattina, così ho cucinato due ciotole di noodles, mi sono davvero commossa! ! L'esperienza è fantastica! !

That is a really good hotel. The rooms are the biggest I have ever been to- about 40 metres. The staff is very sweet and helpful. I ordered packages and they helped me to pick everything up. The hotel is near taiji lake - a bit far from the town and Wudang mountains, but you can get the food with the delivery and getting around with the taxi. If you appreciate peace and quite enviroment- that is a great choice. Thank you.

看着是2026年新裝修才來的，前台服務好，免費升級了房型，停車場是地下停車場、位置寬敞車位多。房間在高樓層相對很安靜，床品舒適、乾淨整潔，配有落地大窗，視野開闊，晚上拍照很出片，並且帶有小度智能客控，躺在床上就能開關燈很便捷。整體入住體驗很好，距離步行街也很近，吃喝玩樂都十分方便，在十堰算是名列前茅的酒店了。
