Hotel 4 stelle a Hobart

Location is great, near Hobart CBD and also waterfront. We got an ‘exterior’ unit with 2 bedrooms on the second level, quite difficult to get up to with large luggages. The rooms are spacious and the queen bed room comes with a heater!

Good location, close to waterfront. Unfortunately, also close to Hobart Hospital so you can hear the helicopter coming and going which was quite noisy at night. Our apartment was spacious but more dated than it appeared in photos and we had a view over the air conditioning units. ☹️ Restaurant was great for dinner at night but the only good thing I can say about the breakfast is the lovely friendly waitress that served our table. Food was awful and not good value at all. The apartment was serviced daily, the toiletries were good quality and replaced which was appreciated. Good for family trips.

My partner and I were here for 4 nights for a weekend down from Melbourne. Check-in was very convenient with a 24-hour receptionist and the location right at the end of Salamanca was perfect for wandering into down and especially to pop into the Salamanca Market on Saturday! Room was very spacious with a couch and small table to sit at; and we stayed on the Harbour side so had fabulous views of the sun rising over the estuary/harbour. Parking was included and was very easy to use. Overall we had a fabulous stay at Lenna!

This is a very nice hotel with high rise hotels and lower rise buildings of rooms which are quieter and next to the water. The view is fabulous, services is great and there are lots of restaurants and bars around. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart.

L'hotel è situato in un buon posto con quasi tutto quello che hai bisogno e vuoi visitare una pietra gettata lontano dall'hotel - a piedi, sicuramente. La camera è comoda, pulita e moderna. Anche un grande colazione! Parcheggio non è un'opzione all'hotel, e gli ospiti dell'hotel dovranno depositare la vostra auto all'ingresso dell'hotel e poi hanno fatto l'opzione valet. Prezzo alto a AUD$40 tuttavia - immagino parcheggio sicuro e sicuro a un prezzo!

The stay here was in perfect location to the wharf and the Salamanca Market. I did have some privacy concerns with the studio apartment such as being able to see into the bedroom from the shared balcony as well as the frosted bathroom window.

The hotel’s location is perfect – it’s just a short walk to the harbour and tourist information centre, where you can easily catch most tours. Conveniently close to the SkyBus stop, it’s also easy to get to the airport. We booked a spacious one-bedroom apartment, and the supermarket is within minutes’ walk. The friendly staff is welcoming to all races, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. The room cleaning was satisfactory, making it a great base for exploring Hobart. We had a great time and would highly recommend this hotel.

If you have an early morning flight departing from Hobart Airport and do not have a car (for example, if you have already returned your rental car), I do not recommend staying at this hotel. Even though it is close to the airport, you may face serious transportation issues like the one I experienced. The hotel is located about 1.8 km from Hobart Airport. By car or taxi, it takes around 5 minutes. However, if you walk, Google Maps shows it takes approximately 25–30 minutes. On 13 December 2025 at around 5:00 PM, I asked the front desk staff to help me pre-book a taxi with 13CABS for the next morning, using my Australian local number from my eSIM. After the booking was completed, I received an SMS confirming my 13CABS request, including the pickup date and time, as well as a tracking link. On the morning of 14 December, I checked out very early at 5:45 AM. At that time, the front desk was closed, so I returned the key card at the counter. I then opened the tracking link from the SMS to check the taxi’s location. I could see a car on the map, but it appeared to be quite far away. I decided to wait. As the pickup time approached, I went outside to wait at the drop-off area, but no taxi arrived. I checked the tracking link again and found that the car was no longer coming. At 5:54 AM, I received another SMS from 13CABS saying: “Hi this is 13 CABS. We are sorry for the delay, we hope to have a vehicle to 1 Holyman, CAMBRIDGE shortly. Do you still require a taxi? Please reply Y/N.” I replied “Y” immediately. After waiting another five minutes with no further updates, I started to feel very anxious. At that point, I met a couple from Hong Kong who were experiencing the same issue—the taxi they had pre-booked also did not arrive. I then called the after-hours reception number provided by the hotel. The staff member was very helpful and advised me to contact 13CABS directly to make a new booking. When I called 13CABS, the operator made a new booking for me and sent another SMS confirmation. However, after waiting for quite a while, there was still no taxi. I asked the Hong Kong couple, and they told me their taxi was supposedly on the way. About five minutes later, a taxi finally stopped at the drop-off area. The couple checked with the driver—it was not their booked taxi. I then asked the driver, and it was not booked under my name either. However, the driver explained that he was waiting in the airport queue and had received a call from head office instructing him to pick up passengers from Mantra Hobart Airport and take them to Hobart Airport. In the end, both the Hong Kong couple and I shared that taxi. The driver charged me AUD 21 and charged the couple AUD 21 as well. In conclusion, staying here is risky if you have an early morning flight, even though the hotel is close to the airport. You may encounter serious issues arranging transportation in the early hours and risk missing your flight. That morning, while I was waiting at the drop-off area, I also saw a man walking from the hotel toward the airport, pulling his suitcase. Unfortunately, it was raining at the time, and the weather was cold, making the situation even worse.

La stanza è abbastanza pulita!!! Onestamente siamo stati in molti luoghi, la pulizia è la cosa migliore per i viaggiatori, quindi non si stanca mai di ripetere questo. La posizione è grande con una bella vista del ponte e vicino a Coles e Woolies(8min di guida). Le chiamate fuori ora sono raccolte e ascoltate pazientemente e in modo considerevole. Quiete e facile da dormire. L'unica cosa è che l'acqua calda è andata troppo veloce, immagino che si stiano usando i pannelli solari? L'acqua calda una volta consumata non ritornerà come promesso la notte. Onestamente non ha colpito la mia famiglia perché prendiamo una doccia veloce per risparmiare acqua per il pianeta di default. Ma dovrei fare una nota qui.
