This comfortable 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin sits directly on the banks of the Kenai River in Sterling, Alaska. The house features 3 separate bedrooms (sleeps 7). Two of the room have queen beds and the third room has a double bed and a twin mattress bunkbed. Take advantage of a fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi and in house washer and dryer. Use the kitchen to prepare your meals or barbecue your catch on the grill. There is a campfire pit in the front yard to enjoy a relaxing evening in the great Alaskan sun. You will enjoy private access to 150 feet of bank on the beautiful Kenai River. A deep freezer sits on the deck for guest use. No smoking inside facilities, pets are NOT allowed and NO RV’s or campers, no exceptions. Relax at our peaceful cabin. Minutes from the world famous Kenai River and downtown Soldotna.Our quaint cabin is a 1 bedroom with loft. This cabin is off grid, powered by solar. Generator included for rainy days.Heat source is a wood stove. Wood provided.Bring your own water. Sinks and toilet are connected to the septic system but water is required to operate toilet.Large covered deck with blackstone grill is the perfect way to cook your dinner while watching the local moose wander the woods.The cabin is a 1 bedroom - 1 bathroom plus spacious loft. 600SF total. We also have a 160SF covered front porch.Other things to note:This rustic cabin was built in 2022. It is close to town but feels like your really getting away. We see moose frequently.The cabin does not have a water source. Water can be picked up in Soldotna. We do provide water jugs for transport.The toilet flushes to the septic system, however you have to add water to the tank to flush.We provide a generator for solar backup on those rainy days. We also provide gas and oil for the generator. We do not provide bedding/linens or towels. Moose Crossing Lodge. Located within walking distance of the well known Bings Landing, in Sterling, Alaska with a neighborhood public Kenai River fishing access. Come and enjoy the many outdoor activities that the great state of Alaska has to offer. Fishing on the Kenai River for Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Dolly Varden can be an experience of a lifetime. Chartered fishing trips are available in the area with many great river guides ready to help you hook that prize fish. We have a 20 cubic foot freezer available to hold your catch while staying with us. We are also centrally located near the communities of Cooper Landing, Seward, Soldotna, Kenai, and Homer which all have great activities waiting for those coming to Alaska. Moose Crossing Lodge will open beginning in 2022 in our newly renovated lodge building. Our daily rate includes 4 guests and each additional guest above 4 will be charged $25.00 per day. We can sleep a maximum of 8 guests. We provide 3 full sized beds and 1 bunk bed, so please consider this for your sleeping comfort. Non-registered outside guests are not permitted on the property during your stay. Welcome to the world famous Kenai Peninsula. This beautiful log cabin with front porch and view of Redoubt Volcano is in the heart of the peninsula. Sleeps 7. 2 bedrooms plus loft. 2 bathrooms. WiFi. Very private setting. Lots of trees on lot. Lots of wildlife around area and property. Moose, bears and eagles frequent the area. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac - there is very little road traffic in the area. The Kenai River is across road. Access to the river is nearby at Bings Landing State Park (best fishing hole on the river) also known as the Naptowne Rapids. You can walk to the state park from the cabin. In this area you can fish for salmon and trout most of the summer. Lots of room to fish and within walking distance to the town of Sterling. Sterling is 10 miles north of Soldotna and 2.5 hours south of Anchorage. Sterling is the heart of the peninsula. Close to Kenai, Seward and Homer. In Soldotna you can find lots of stores and restaurants to enjoy. Seward and Homer have fishing and sightseeing charters. Seward is home to the famous Kenai Fjords National Park with boats to see sea wildlife and glaciers calving. You can also fish for salmon in Seward or visit the Alaska Sealife Center. Homer is the halibut capital of the world. In Homer you can travel to the famous Homer spit for fish-n-chips or take a charter to catch monster halibut or take a water taxi to Halibut Cove or Seldovia for some sea kayaking. This beautiful cabin has a gas fireplace, solid surface countertops, stainless steel appliances, log beds and furniture. Barbecue and outdoor chairs to relax after a long day of fun.
