Hotel 2 stelle a Weinan

Awesome place to stay. Owners are extremely helpful and nice. They explained the best route to hike Huashan making the journey very easy. You can buy anything you are missing like rain poncho, knee protector, hiking sticks, etc. at the hotel. They provide gloves and free station pick up/drop off service to train station. There is a balcony in the lobby with Huashan views. The basement has a restaurant providing breakfast buffet and dishes you can order for lunch and dinner. The food was decent. In the morning, after eating breakfast, they drop us off at the huashan entrance. After you are done hiking Huashan, send them a message and they will pick you up to go back to hotel or bring your luggage and drop you off at the station. I would definitely stay here again.

Il soggiorno qui era sorprendente, le camere erano pulite e mi offrono tutto per rendere perfetta l’esperienza, mi hanno lasciato e mi hanno portato al parco di Huashan, mi hanno offerto un bagno a piedi e un pasto caldo quando sono tornato. E anche mi ha lasciato alla stazione il giorno dopo!La stanza stessa aveva anche una bella vista sulle montagne ⛰️

The room didn’t have curtains for the beds, but it was a all female bedroom, so it was fine. I got some clean sheets to make my bed and then went to sleep. I had wifi and next to the room was a small bathroom with a toilet. The family running the hostel was very nice. I told the owner my plans for the hike and he told me, I should start earlier, if I wanted to complete the full hike on foot. He also warned me about the rain, which was nice and helpful. We had to communicate with a translator app. The owner offered to help me book a taxi to get to the train station after check out. The hostel itself was very close to the mountain to start the hike on foot to the north peak. The bed wasn’t the most modern thing & it was a bit hard, but it was fine to sleep there one night for the hike the next day👍 After asking, I was also given an adapter to charge my phone :)

Room is spacious and reasonably clean. Bed is comfortable. A family operation, is literally 3-5 mins walk from the Tourist Service Area, where one can purchase the entry ticket and is the entry point to ascend the north peak (including to reach the north peak cable car). If you prefer to hike all the way up instead of cable up, the start of walking trail is slightly more than 30mins walk away but seems like there is a free shuttle bus that would transfer people between this Tourist Service Area and the start of the walk trail. If you come by ”normal” train, you are about 10mins drive away. The husband of the hotel provides a one time service to either pick up or drop off to the train station. I suggest to use it for the latter as you would have hoards of cabbies trying to bring you from station. Currently the area where is the hotel is partially obscured by a major road expansion but don't let the cabby coax you to cancel this booking and move to their recommended hotels in the more touristic ”village centre”. On paper it sounds great but I find most eateries there sell the same choice of food and goods. For food, the wife of the hotel also operates a eatery on the ground floor of the hotel which I find tasty and reasonably priced. Note that this is budget hotel of simple fittings but I personally find of good value for money for a couple of nights after a long day up in the mountain. (I believe parking might be free there too but do check with owner to confirm).

Good place to stay, good location near the hiking entrance. To get to the tourist centre, there is free shuttle provided. It's convenient. Room is clean.

A Truly Memorable Stay – Incredible Hospitality at the Foot of Mount Huashan I stayed here while preparing to hike the legendary Mount Huashan from the bottom, and I can honestly say the experience was made all the more special thanks to the incredible kindness and hospitality of the owners. From the moment I arrived, the owners went out of their way to make me feel at home. They provided a detailed and helpful briefing on how to explore the mountain safely, including routes, timings, and what to expect—something that gave me great confidence going into such a challenging hike. The real highlight, however, was their extraordinary help when I accidentally left my camera in a taxi. What could have been a disaster turned into a heartwarming reminder of genuine human kindness. The owners took it upon themselves to contact the driver, coordinate the return, and made sure I got my camera back safely. They didn’t have to go to such lengths, but they did so without hesitation. They were also incredibly accommodating when it came to practical matters—arranging food deliveries after a long day on the trail, and organizing a smooth taxi ride back to the train station when it was time to leave. If you're planning to hike Mount Huashan and are looking for a place that feels more like staying with family than in a hotel, this is the one. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Il capo è buono, il servizio è molto in posizione, l'ambiente è molto buono, il prezzo è buono, vale la pena raccomandare

Sistemazione semplice. Non aspettatevi troppo. La stanza è discretamente pulita. Il bagno è fuori dai bagni pubblici. Inoltre, non mi fiderei della pulizia dell'acqua per lavarmi le mani. Non c'è acqua corrente. Meglio portare la propria acqua per lavarsi e lavarsi i denti. Le camere a capsula si trovano in un edificio separato, 300 gradini più in basso rispetto alle altre camere. Se desiderate una cena e una colazione decenti (a pagamento), è meglio alloggiare nel dormitorio da 10 persone, dove ci sono un bar e un ristorante. Il bar accanto serve solo noodles istantanei e chiude presto. Anche la ”porta” della capsula non si chiude completamente. Ci sono solo 2 pezzi... meno 1 o 2... La cosa positiva è che qui viene fornita acqua calda se portate i noodles istantanei. Potete anche ammirare l'alba direttamente dalla veranda esterna.

Abbiamo scelto di salire a piedi sul North Peak e di prendere la funivia per scendere sul West Peak. Durante la camminata abbiamo potuto riposarci e scattare foto, quindi non avevamo fretta. Il motivo principale era che eravamo fisicamente deboli e non riuscivamo a completare la scalata in un giorno. Se insistessimo per completarlo, probabilmente ci romperemmo le gambe. L'intero viaggio dura circa 10 ore e sarà molto più semplice se lo si divide in due giorni. Il primo giorno siamo saliti da Yuquanyuan via Qianchixia e Baichixia a Beifeng, e poi via Canglongling a Wuyunfeng. Ci sono volute quasi 6 ore ed ero troppo stanco per salire. Penso che sia stata una decisione saggia prenotare questo hotel prima. Se avessi prenotato il Dongfeng Hotel o il Xifeng Hotel, ci sarebbero volute più di 2 ore per salire. Grazie capo per averci prenotato una stanza esposta a ovest. Riesco a vedere il bellissimo tramonto nella stanza. Le prime due foto qui sotto sono state scattate nella stanza. Le due foto successive sono state scattate sulla piattaforma panoramica all'ingresso dell'hotel.

Si tratta di un alloggio tipo ostello molto basilare con pochissimi comfort ma in una posizione difficile da battere. Proprio accanto alla cima occidentale nello stesso edificio di un tempio con il sentiero che attraversa l'edificio (sotto la reception/ristorante). Le foto sono state scattate al tramonto dalla cima a circa 3 minuti dall'ostello. Le camere sono pulite e il personale è cordiale. L'ostello condivide i bagni pubblici nel complesso dell'edificio. Se ti trovi bene con sistemazioni molto basilari ma stai cercando una posizione, questo potrebbe fare al caso tuo.
