Hotel 2 stelle a Songpan

Abbiamo fatto un viaggio privato senza guida, affidandosi a trip.com e pianificando il nostro itinerario. Il luogo è tranquillo e tranquillo. Il personale è amichevole e utile con informazioni. Tuttavia, parlano solo cinese.

Hotel breakfast was average as it is not buffet style and you don't have a choice. Rooms are clean and they change the towels everyday, Owner was very nice and sent us to the railway station on day of departure.

Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte, ma avremmo voluto avere più tempo in questo hotel perché il nostro soggiorno è stato meraviglioso. Siamo stati accolti benissimo, il personale era gentile e cordiale, hanno persino cercato di trovare qualcuno che parlasse inglese per noi. I proprietari ci hanno fornito tutte le informazioni utili: sulla cena, la colazione e la navetta gratuita per l'area panoramica di Huanglong. Abbiamo cenato in hotel, il servizio è stato al di sopra di ogni aspettativa, il cibo era delizioso e a prezzi accessibili. Ci è piaciuto moltissimo. La camera era fantastica, molto spaziosa, con un'enorme finestra e vista sul fiume, il bagno era molto comodo con acqua calda e buona pressione. Il letto era ampio e confortevole, abbiamo dormito benissimo. Alle 7 del mattino abbiamo fatto un'ottima colazione fatta in casa e poi i proprietari ci hanno accompagnato in auto all'area panoramica. Vi ringraziamo di cuore e vi auguriamo tutto il meglio: felicità, buona salute e prosperità.

I can really recommend the Hostel if you want to travel through Aba and take the train from Chengdu to Songpan. When you arrive at the railway station, you can take a Didi for a bit more than 10 yuan and will get dropped off at the main road. From there walk about 100 m up the small street, take a right turn and pass the gate to arrive on the property of the Hotel. There is a beautiful garden and they serve local breakfast for 10 yuan per person. The hosts speak some english and are really kind. I can recommend to take a walk to the ancient city and head up the stairs to the Weiyuan gate, which has an amazing view and is worth the climb. For the way back you can either go back the same way or go a bit further to the road, which is longer distance but effortless walking.

Top notch hospitality and care from the front desk staffs before we even checked into the hotel. Our luggages were taken from our cab into the hotel before check in. We were then welcomed with hot tea beverages to help relieve my mum’s high altitude sickness. Checking in was a breeze as the front desk anticipated our arrival. The hotel and room has a traditional chinese design which gives a vibe of staying in an ancient chinese town. The bed has warmers that help keeps warm. Water heater works well and basic amenities are adequate. We also received welcome gifts of traditional ******* tea leaves and fragrant incense which are local specialities of the area, from the hotel staff. They also helped to arrange a special soup hotpot dinner where the lovely restaurant staff came to the hotel to lead us to the restaurant. The meal was excellent and value for money. As my mum was not feeling so well due to altitude sickness, we asked if there’s any health massage in the city. The hotel staff helped us make reservation for a ******* health massage and even offered to drive us there! The massage was good and reasonably priced. The hotel is located inside the Songpan Ancient Town. The night lights in the town is perfect for photography. All the attractions in Songpan is within close vicinity. Bus station is also just nearby around 3 minutes drive away. Since we had to catch the high speed railway at Zhenjiangguan, the hotel staff even sent us to the shuttle bus station and get us settled there with our luggage etc. They advised us to get the shuttle bus as it is free to the railway station and also advice on the time to get ready. These kinds of hospitality makes one feel like they are at a relative’s home. Highly recommended.

Songpan is one of the most exotic and exciting places I have ever visited. It was such a surprise to experience the place and its culture. It is a must if you are in the Chengdu area. Especially now, since they just recently got connected to the high speed railroad network, and a trip from Chengdu to Songpan takes less than two hours, when it used to take nearly ten hours on the bus to get here. The hotel is brilliant, the finest without a doubt I have stayed in for this kind of money. It is run by tibetians and is nothing but pleasant surprise. Songpan, one of the most special and finest traveling experiences in my life, despite of getting a very noticeable altitude sickness

Siamo genitori con due bambini e, innanzitutto, l'ambiente è fantastico: situato in un tradizionale villaggio *******, con un bellissimo fiume e una foresta. Siamo stati accolti da una famiglia ******* tradizionale, che offre un servizio di prelievo gratuito dalla stazione ferroviaria e dall'aeroporto, oltre alla colazione gratuita. È possibile ordinare pranzo e cena dalla cucina della madre dei proprietari, e si può vivere un'esperienza unica raccogliendo funghi nella loro foresta (gratuitamente). È possibile fare passeggiate a cavallo e raggiungere i luoghi di interesse a un prezzo ragionevole. Se disponibile, i proprietari possono accompagnarvi durante le escursioni. Abbiamo soggiornato per 5 notti e abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo il paesaggio, ma soprattutto la calorosa ospitalità di queste persone gentili. Ho prenotato questo hotel con tre mesi di anticipo, quindi il prezzo è stato davvero ottimo. Se non si confronta con le condizioni di un hotel a 5 stelle, soggiornare in un hotel a conduzione familiare ******* è un'opzione piacevole ed economica.

It was nice to have a cultural experience here. (Disappointing) 1. The windows are not double windows and they are not insulated well. We had to keep the heating on when the electricity came on. 3. There are many places under construction around the building, so the power supply is unstable. Please warm up your bed and charge your phone when the electricity comes in. 4. If you are a non-smoker, ask for a second-floor room when you check-in. The third-floor room has a sore throat due to the continuous smoke coming up from the second-floor cigarette. 5. There was a restaurant near the hotel that said ”Breakfast” and when I went there at 7:30 the door was locked. I looked around all around the hotel, but none of the restaurants were open. Prepare food such as snacks and fruits in advance for breakfast. 6. I think this is for Chinese people only. Foreign lodging registration is not automatic. Please visit the police station next to you at the high-speed rail station and take care of it yourself. (Other) 1. The map app confirms that buses run between the ancient fortress wall and the high-speed rail station, but when I asked the locals, they said they don't operate it. I paid 20 yuan for a taxi from the bus stop to my accommodation. I took a taxi from here three times, but no taxi was priced for mileage. You should bargain well. 2. There is a convenience store in the waiting room of the high-speed rail station that sells instant food, the air is warm, and you can charge your phone. If you have nowhere to go, you can spend time here. (We also had breakfast here and charged our phones for four hours.)
