Excellent breakfast but I was charged for 2 @ £18.95 each (as I had a single room) so very expensive. On querying this I was told it was standard practice
Large room although was surprised to have a disabled room when I hadn't requested one - meant that sink was low and shower was in the bath
Room was cold. I was told the air conditioning had been put on for the summer and the room temperature couldn't be adjusted. Temperature control in room didn't work apart from blowing more cold air through the vents. Bathroom radiator didn't heat when turned on. Shower was lukewarm.
Volume on TV control didn't work so sound very low
Green light on ceiling for smoke detector kept me awake.

Great location easy to get to, staff were friendly, only thing for improvement was the restaurant. Staff not attentive enough, and could constantly here the manager giving the staff a hard time, when he did nothing but lean up against the till

Good location just off M1 if arrival is by car. Some tired looking carpet in communal areas but room was fine. Annoying to have to pay for parking as a hotel guest when there is a large spacious car park, seems like a money making exercise.

The hotel rooms are clean enough but the pool areas are dated and dirty.
Breakfast was a joke. Not enough staff, not enough seats and poor food. We waited to be seated for 15mins even though th we re were seats in the bar area that weren’t being used. Then, both coffee machines were out of order so no hot drinks were available.

Swimming pool was a bonus, however the overall hotel is starting to age, and noise levels were above what we would have liked with people going up and down the corridor

The Harry Potter trail around the hotel was an unexpected surprise loved by our 8 year old ahead of our Harry Potter visit!

Booked room with a baby and end up with sofa bed and uncomfortable sofa bed mattress. Room is average. I had to pay £14 for car park for 2 nights !!!! RIP off .

This is a nice, clean and well kept hotel with great access and location. The staff are friendly and helpful and it has lots of amenities. Our family room was huge and everything worked well. The only downside for me was that breakfast was a shambles and very disorganised. No cutlery on tables, coffee machines not working etc. We could have just turned up at the peak moment and others may have had no issues at all. As I say, brilliant hotel otherwise.
