My husband booked The Endeavour in Staithes for my birthday, we had a lovely mini break staying in the Rhode Island room, the room was so comfy, really cosy, plenty of room, loved the complimentary tea & coffee with fresh milk and filtered water, and toiletries, smelt divine. Breakfast was delicious, all locally sourced and cooked to perfection, perfect poached eggs every morning. The Endeavour is in a perfect location, between a fab pub and the beach. Cameron and Caroline were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble, with a font of knowledge of the local area. Will definitely visit again.

Just got back from a short break to Staithes, a lovely quiet village (I’m sure it won’t be in the peak seasons) We had a wonderful stay at The Endeavour in the Tahiti room. We had a really comfy nights sleep and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. My hubby had the kippers - he loved them and I had an amazing veggie breakfast. Our host Cameron is a lovely guy, extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of knowledge of the area and village- as well as a brilliant cook. Can’t wait to go back - highly recommend a stay here.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at The Endeavour . Cameron and Caroline were the perfect hosts so friendly and welcoming. The Endeavour is perfectly situated on the main high street. We stayed in the Tahiti room which was spotless . The bed and pillows were so comfy. Little touches of complementary milk , water, shampoo conditioner , shower gel, hand wash and even bath salts made it home from home The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. Nothing was too much trouble even when we had to call Cameron out at 8pm on the Saturday evening. The hotel is decorated to a high standard and has such a cosy feel. The snug room was our favourite. Staithes has so much to offer . We would definitely recommend food at the cod and lobster and afternoon tea at Dotty’s ( next door ) We can’t wait to return and will definitely be staying at the Endeavour again.

Staithes, out of season, is a wonderful old laid back seaside village with winding narrow streets. The Endeavour is centrally located. Free overnight winter period parking 5 minutes up the hill.Friendly, helpful host. Rooms fresh and clean and nicely furnished with a Captain Cooke theme. Ground coffee, fresh milk and biscuits in your room. Great breakfast (I had Staithes smoked kippers). Good food (cod and lonster) and drink at the harbour front pub (massive range of spirits) Great local cliff top walks and an interesting working harbour with a small beach. It probably will be too busy for my liking in the summer but I'll definitely be returning for another off-season break

A lovely B&B for relaxation and great breakfasts cooked by Cameron! Our room was full of character and you can see the harbour whilst using the lovely window seat and when sitting up in bed. It was tremendous to sit warm and cosy and watch the very big waves. The snug is as good as it sounds, a lovely place to relax with comfy armchairs, sofa and an honesty bar. Breakfasts are delicious in the very smart dining room. We spotted several people go by with their surfboards on their way to make the most of the sea conditions during our stay. Staithes is such an amazing place packed with houses on the steep slopes, and we met so many friendly people everywhere we went. It’s also a great place to head off for cliff walks either north or south. We particularly enjoyed the walk to Runswick Bay.

Perfect overnight stay at the Endeavour in Staithes. Cannot recommend this small bed and breakfast highly enough. Even before we arrived Cameron was really helpful. Grest communication throughout our stay. The room was a perfect size and spotlessly clean as was the ensuite bathroom. Very well equipped. Breakfast was excellent. We cannot wait to return.

I travelled to Staithes with my wife at the end of October staying for two nights at the Endeavour B&B. Cameron was the perfect host , friendly, helpful and informative. Like its host the Endeavour was a great, a special place to stay.Shown to our room named Tahiti we took advantage of refreshments, including fresh milk, ground coffee and chilled bottled water. The room was clean ,tidy and tastefully decorated and we both slept well on a comfortable bed. You are asked to order breakfast the evening before , we chose a delicious cooked breakfast, tasty and well cooked, A special mention given for the best poached eggs. A good selection of cereals , toast and orange juice are available. Staithes is such a lovely coastal village and we spent our time walking and relaxing, just watching the world go by. This is my first review on Tripadvisor, it is that good. We await our next visit.

My wife and I stayed for two nights and were blown away by the Endeavour. Cameron and Caroline’s attention to detail was superb and Cameron was the king of restaurant recommendations! We stayed in the Botany Bay room which was really spacious and we loved waking up to the harbour and sea view. Breakfast was superbly cooked by Cameron and really enjoyed by us both. We will return.

A really lovely welcoming place to stay. Cameron is a great host, lots of local information from him, most helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and nicer decorated. The breakfast was wonderful. The Endeavour is a place I would definitely recommend.
