Santa Lucia Guest House

From the moment Phil answered my email query about accommodation at Santa Lucia, I was pretty sure I’d found something special, and the reality (which we didn’t experience for almost another 12 months) did not disappoint. We stayed at Santa Lucia Guesthouse for almost 2 weeks and during that time we were made to feel like part of the family. Nothing was too much trouble! Phil and Eileen cheerfully and knowledgeably helped us navigate bookings and payment for all the best places to visit, assisting us to plan the most memorable holiday experience ever. Saint Lucia itself is a superb destination, sitting on the edge of the world class iSimangaliso Wetlands, beautiful beaches and close to Hluhluwe-Imfolozi National Park. It really deserves thorough exploration and is a well-run town with friendly locals and plenty to see and do (and eat). We enjoyed wonderful hospitality, fascinating conversation, beautiful original artworks by Eileen and lots of laughter and fun. All without the annoyance of noisy televisions. There was with plenty of space to move and the service was prompt, unobtrusive and top notch. We absolutely loved every moment of our visit. It was truly the stuff dreams and lifelong memories are made of, and we definitely plan to come back! I really couldn’t recommend Saint Lucia or the Santa Lucia Guesthouse more highly and wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Managed to find this hidden gem due to a last minute cancellation. We spent three wonderful nights and Phillip and family were wonderful hosts with suggestions on how to best maximise our time. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed their pool during our rest times when we weren’t sightseeing. The room, although narrow was comfortable and air conditioning was very welcome in the heat of summer. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Magnifique Guest House au cœur de St Lucia Nous avons logé à 2 adultes et 2 enfants dans l’appartement familial de la Guest House. Le logement, très bien situé à proximité de l’artère principale, est très fonctionnel, bien agencé et confortable avec une belle perspective sur le jardin tropical. L’accueil a été parfait et le petit déjeuner excellent. Tout le personnel est aimable.
