I am so glad I added 4 days into my South African holiday and even more pleased that I chose @Heritage House for my accommodation. My room was lovely with it's own little patio to enjoy a morning coffee. The breakfasts were cooked to order with a vast array of accompaniments. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly with nothing being too much trouble to make my visit such a memorable one. I would also like to add that the coordination of my activities was outstanding, as was the standard of catering for the meal and refreshment breaks on these adventures. Special thanks to Bonita (and Shaggy) for making my stay feel like a home away from home. Bonus was on the last night when I followed the hippo's from the main street back to @Heritage!

We stayed at the Heritage House during our three day safari package with Heritage Tours and Safaris, and we loved it. The room was spacious, clean. Great aircon too. The house is beautiful with a nice inner court where we enjoyed a great breakfast. Lovely pool to relax in after the game drives. Thank you Bonita and staff for a hassle-free and very relaxed stay. For the beautifully prepared breakfast and lunches on the day trips.

Located in town close to everything. Host (Bonita) was awesome and very helpful. Spacious bedrooms with ensuite. Booked 3 rooms in the main building. Had a tasty breakfast laid out in a beautiful verandah area, which also includes a lovely outdoor lounge section to relax in after a long day out. Convenient, as tours pick you up from doorstep and driven around by experienced tour guides with great knowledge of the area. It is a B&B, so common living area, with Helper’s service available, if required. We did a sunset tour drive as well as the river boat tour and the half day Game drive. Got to see various wildlife on all tours, only missing out on lion and leopard, which is understandable. We even got to see the Townies (Hippos) walking the street at night, which was a bonus. There are also resident Warthogs (Pumba’s) that roam the streets, so be on the lookout. An amazing place and highly recommend a visit here

I had such a lovely experience at Heritage House. The room was spacious, well maintained and cleaned and had all the amenities you'd need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The guesthouse is a short walk away from the main street where all the shops and restaurants are located so it's super convenient. The breakfasts and safari lunches that were prepared by Zinhle and Nomonde were delicious. And their muffins are mouthwatering, waaay better than anything you can buy in the store. Bonita was super helpful, always ready to answer questions, and made sure to check in on me since I was travelling alone which was very sweet. Overall the service from the guest house staff was excellent. I would 100% book with Heritage House again. Thank you Bonita, Zinhle, Nomonde and little Shaggy for looking after me. Hopefully I see you again soon!

Charming accommodation, spacious room, bathroom and shower. Only a short walk to the restaurants and bars. Bonita and her staff were extremely welcoming, hospitable and accommodating and everything was done with a smile on their faces. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Bonita also gave us excellent recommendations, guidance and advice for restaurants and tours. Very happy with all aspects of our stay (5 nights) and would definitely recommend.

Firstly we were greatly helped by Owner Bonita as we were on a long road trip & could not arrive until late. She helped a lot & we were so pleased to arrive to a very comfortable & attractive room with lounge area as well where we could relax before collapsing into a very comfortable bed. Very well appointed bathroom with good shower & very nice toiletries. Fridge stocked with water too. Excellent breakfast next morning on lovely patio overlooking the pool. Would have liked to have stayed longer & enjoyed the place itself & some of the exciting trips that Bonita offers. Excellent value .

We had the most fantastic stay at Heritage House.Room was spacious and comfortable.The house itself had everything we could ask for from home made treats,an amazing breakfast,well equipped kitchen, friendly staff,beautiful outside area and a pool.All this within walking distance of the main street.In addition Bonita went out of her way to help us book game drives and provided excellent advice on what to do and see in the area.Nothing was too much trouble for her.Wish we could have stayed longer.A great place to base yourself while you explore all that this amazing area has to offer.

First and foremost one would humble thank Heritage house for hosting us. Your marvelous staff, Bonita and Zanele, made our stay a blessing. Your location is very safe and we felt very safe. Your breafast served on time and really enjoyable and we loved it the most. I cannot forget the peaceful sleep with no disturbances from anything. We have stayed here previously, this time it was a one night stop over. Once again the accommodation was spotless, and very comfortable. The breakfast was very well cooked and faultlessly presented on the veranda. Our thanks go to Bonita, Zanele and Lee for making us so welcome and looking after us so well.
