Estancia Resort

We had a great time at the Estancia St.George. The pools and room were great. We were disappointed that the pictures and descriptions implied that room had a hot tub on deck. It doesn’t! You have to have the presidential suite for that amenity. I have a bad back and knee replacements and was looking forward to soaking after hiking. It was very disappointing. Also, if you have anyone above you, it can be loud between footsteps and loud water pipes draining. Also, if you like to workout , the gym is very minimal.We also ran out of hot water in our room. But it wasn’t all negative, everything else was nice and very well organized. Also,They should fix the descriptions to better show the actual amenities

Service was amazing. Staff were very helpful and always willing to go out of their way. Mary was amazing and did just that to ensure our stay exceeded expectations. Our unit was very clean and had all the appropriate utensils and cooking equipment. My wife and I were traveling to South Utah to hike/bike at the surrounding state/national parks and we saved so much money just being able to cook, grill and store food. We used a resort certificate and didnt have to pay much more (hence the 5 stars for value). Location was excellent for our stated purpose. Rooms were comfortable and offered adequate space. 3 stars are because our unit ran out of hot water on a few occasions which was a bummer as we look forward to some hot baths after a day of hiking/biking. Overall, still good experience.

We were at the resort for two weeks as we toured Zion and Bryce Canyon. We found the unit, ( 3 bedroom overlooking the pool) to be spacious, nicely furnished and very clean. The grounds are well maintained with several amenities ( mini golf, shuffle board, cornhole, ladder golf and multiple pools each with hot tubs) spaced throughout the grounds. We have have stayed at countless RCI affiliated resorts over the years and would say that overall this is one of the best we have come across.
