Lorimer House

Scott met us at the front door, and his smile and service thru out our stay there was terrific. The rooms, beds, sheets, pillows, towels were all spot on! Would highly recommend if you're playing in St Andrews, walking distance to all. Central located if playing other course as well. Thanks Scott for a trip of a lifetime

We've had a great stay at Lorimer House. Scott is a welcoming and friendly host. Everything is clean and the cooked breakfast was great. We can highly recommend this guesthouse as its so central. We'll definitely book again when we stay over in St Andrews.

My husband and I just stayed for three nights and I highly recommend Lorimer Guest House to anyone visiting St Andrews. Check in and communication are great. We had a deluxe double suite facing the front of the house. It was so clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed chatting with Scott and with other guests. The location is perfect for walking to the golf course, the castle, the cathedral, and many shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

We booked this as a very last minute break away, our usual haunts in St Andrews were booked up but we recognised the address and gave Lorimers a try. First impressions were great, lovely house in a perfect location. Room was spotlessly clean and had all that was needed for a few days away. I have to admit, the room we were allocated was the one that I had saw on the website and hoped wasn’t ours (pine bedroom furniture gives me crappy memories of the 80!) (This is completely based on personal decor taste ) The room was really small, but was ok on this occasion as it was a short break, although I may have struggled if it had been longer. We didn’t try breakfast so can’t comment (we do like a lie in!) We would definitely come back but would book direct next time and upgrade the room. Thanks for a lovely stay. We met Scott when we were checking out and he was lovely.

Scott is a great host and provides great conversation. Check in was a breeze. The rooms are clean and very well kept. Breakfast was great each day and he will cater to dietary needs. Everything you need is within walking distance. Scott is a golfer and understands what you may need throughout your trip.
