Hotel con colazione inclusa a St Andrews

L'hotel ha una posizione molto buona e il loro servizio è molto bello!

Abbiamo prenotato una camera matrimoniale descritta ”piccola”ad un buon prezzo...arrivati in Hotel ci accoglie un ragazzo molto gentile che parla anche l italiano,ci spiega che suo nonno era siciliano La camera si trova al piano inferiore alla reception,ed effettivamente è proprio minimal come misure, ma pulita e con una finestra dietro al letto che affaccia su un cortile esterno dell hotel stesso Buona posizione Consigliato

Excellent location with St. Andrews town centre a short drive away. Accommodation in a two bedroom bungalow was excellent and very clean. We did not use the hotel restaurant or bars as we were able to prepare our own meals with all the facilities available to us in the bungalow kitchen. The only downside was the reception on the television. When we reported this a member of staff called immediately to deal with this. Unfortunately the problem continued. As we were only staying a few days, we did not use the television regularly

Locazione strategica per chi ama il golf con personale molto gentile Purtroppo i ristoranti non sono all'altezza ed hanno un menù molto limitato La colazione al contrario è di buon livello Letti e cuscini troppo morbidi ed anche i bagni sarebbero da rinnovare. Le camere sono comunque spaziose

Andammo a mangiare e abbiamo avuto una grande esperienza con il nostro server Fiona, era gentile, amichevole e si assicurava di soddisfare le esigenze durante il nostro tempo. Anche se sembrava di essere a corto raggio, Fiona si è spinta oltre e oltre per assicurarsi che tutti i nostri bisogni fossero soddisfatti. Le limoni erano il chat del giorno haha.

We arrived around 10.30am but our room was not available (as we expected ) so we left our luggage to explore the Hotel and town. The receptionist did say our room wouldn’t be too much longer and she would call when it was available but it sadly wasn’t ready until the 3pm check in. That said it wasn’t too much of a problem as we had a light lunch in the club house before a wander into town. When we returned we were offered champagne and sweet treats in the foyer which were a welcome surprise! Our room didn’t face the golf course which was a disappointment- I should have requested this on booking but it was still really comfortable in every way! The only couple of niggles was the TV kept glitching and the bath plug was faulty. Lovely toiletries and soft fluffy towels were fabulous. We loved the Road Hole bar and also enjoyed the pods in the new West Deck area for drinks. The Swilcan Loft is a perfect dining area and less formal than the fine dining restaurant but we didn’t get a chance to eat here. We ate at the Jigger Inn which was wonderful. Staff were lovely and the service and food terrific. It was so exciting the time we stayed as the Hotel and course was preparing for the Dunhill Links competition. Wish we could have stayed for a longer period. This really is the best place to stay at St Andrews and I think we need to return so my husband can play the Old Course and I can enjoy the spa which I sadly didn’t get a chance to do this time. Thanks to the staff for an impeccable stay!
