Excellent service and too good hospitality food was yummy made by chef Majid and all the staff like Ashraf Umar etc very kind and helpful and Shahid Bhai who was there all the time with us for sigh seen and the owner Naved who knows how to please his customer so much kind and efficient really worth to stay here and you will enjoy each and every moment in this hotel ...Thanks All

We stayed at AlHamra Retreat in Srinagar for two nights, July 18th and 19th. The rooms were spacious and airy, and the accommodation matched the price, which was reasonable even during the holiday season. The hotel has a beautiful setting, though it’s a bit far from the city center. However, the quiet surroundings and the close proximity to Salimar Mughal Garden made it a great place to stay. The staff was very attentive and friendly, from the head chef to the servers, receptionists, and especially the gatekeeper. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Very bad service at the hotel. Even after booking ac rooms they had to be repeatedly reminded to switch ac on. Their food service was absolutely pathetic with every order taking 30-45 mins and bland food all through out. Towels were not changed nor were rooms cleaned every day

Very beautiful and well maintained property. Rooms are spacious. Food was good too. Select mountain view room while booking. Staff is helpful. If you wish to visit Shalimar garden it's just 10 mins walking distance. You can sit in the lawn and enjoy your tea while watching sunset. Recommended in budget.

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel was all right, the mattresses were too soft for my liking. Great provision of hot water. The bed linens and towels were clean and changed daily. The wifi was strong. The breakfast was adequate - liquidy upma, large oily puris with bhaji, boiled eggs, tea, coffee, fresh fruit. My only complaint was they don't provide omelettes, it's for an extra charge. I don't know why they can't provide omelettes.

The place is truly value for money. The location is good. Dinner is very wholesome (good for vegetarians too). I went there in summer and it will definatly be good during winter. Will highly recommend this place to anyone visiting srinagar.

Pros: 1. The super deluxe rooms are big and have a balcony view. 2. The hotel staff was courteous. 3. The hotel is near to Nishad Mughal Garden. Cons: 1. The food was average buffet spread is very limited. Breakfast isn’t worth it. 2. For pure vegetarians: We had a weird incident, they initially informed us that the bread is having eggs and later when we complained, they said the bread is eggless. 3. The hotel location is far from dal lake and the market. 4. There isn’t a lift. 5. Many rooms are very near to reception on the B wing and as they allow vehicles till reception, it was very noisy at times.

I was not allowed to stay in the hotel. Reason i am from srinagar( local resident) and there behaviour was not good they embrassed us. So need a refund. I need a refund
