The Moon City Art Pad & Patio is a Craftsman style bungalow built around 1917 and we have owned it since 2000. While helping develop the Commercial Street Historic District since 1994, it has been the perfect place to live! Now, we have loved updating it to make it a place that guests and their pets will love. Artists with connections to Springfield are showcased, their original works line the walls. The patio and yard are perfect places to watch birds, relax and enjoy throughout the day. The space Our promise to you, our guests, as your hosts, is that your health and safety are top priorities for us. For your health: We follow the enhanced cleaning protocols established by Airbnb through the CDC's recommendations. In addition, additional supplies are stocked for your use during your stay. For your safety: The house alarm system is available for your use with your check in code so that you can be sure your pets and valuables are protected at all times. The basement (although used regularly for storage) is available for your protection in the event of a tornado or serious storm. Guest access You and your family or friends will have the entire home to yourselves. Check in is easy on the keypad, and the instructions on how to use everything in the house are available in our complete guest book, a copy of each you will find on both floors. Since we have lived in the house for over 20 years, we know what you'll need to know and have included it. How to work the remote controls for the tvs? It's in there. How to set the alarm at night if you want to have it on while you sleep? It's in there. Nearby restaurants and attractions. Yep, we have it. How to access the basement in a tornado warning? Gotcha. Most importantly, how to contact us at any time if you have a question. We are always available to our guests. Other things to note Your trip to Springfield starts the minute you begin to choose the place you will stay. We've been business owners who specialize in customer service for over 35 years. Having owned and operated massage therapy clinics, a school, a commercial laundry for spa linens (yes it was health care certified, so we know what we are doing about CLEAN), and having traveled many places in the world while staying in other people's homes, we know what you need and what you don't need. You need to have us figure out the stay before you ever get there and then you need to have no reason to call us. A "Wow!" at the front door, and a sweet glance back with a promise to return when you leave. Our promise to you is that we will do our best to make sure all of that happens. We had a wonderful stay at this home! The home was great, well-stocked, and exactly as described. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the living spaces were perfect for relaxing after a day out.

The host is super sweet. She went above and beyond. I had to rent a wheel chair due to us forgetting mine at home. The return day was on a Monday and we were leaving Sunday. She had my wheel chair taken back. She also mailed a little of our clothes we forgot in the dryer. Her home is beautiful too. This old house has all the original from the hardwood floors to trimmings yet has a modern twist.

Love at first sight 100 year old home in excellent condition. Original woodwork is so gorgeous.The host has great taste in comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well stocked and we had plenty of clean towels and bedding. Also, the air-conditioning works great and was much appreciated considering the outside temperature hovered around 100 degrees. We also were able to enjoy the patio thanks to the large shade trees.We couldn't have chosen a rental with a better location, we were just a few minutes from the zoo and Pythian Castle.Thank you, Julian for being such a great host.

Excellent Property This house was perfect for my family. We were in town for an event at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. This house was close to the fairgrounds with easy access. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The owner always responded quickly to any questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet. We will stay here again in future trips.

Weekend stay My family stayed for just the weekend when I was in the area for a race. This home was perfect for our group plus my pups! Great location, perfect space, beautiful backyard. Juliet was very responsive any time I had a question…even when we checked out and forgot something inside the home. She was quick to return my call and unlock the house so we could run in and grab the forgotten item. Overall a great stay! Thanks Juliet!

Beautiful place awesome owner This home was so beautiful and unique. Easy to get to. Easy entry. Ms. Mee the owner was top notch to work with. Phoned to verify all was great. Recommend her home for a family good time. 5 plus stars on everything. Lots of natural light and roomy. Would use her home again. Graduation week and needed room and place to cook. Perfect for all of us to enjoy our time together.
