Stayed in room 312 on 5/7/22. This is a 5 story hotel with indoor hallways Looks like they recently painted an old hotel The place is dated and there are cosmetic dings throughout the property It was clean except for the filthy balcony No concerns about safety The staff was friendly During the night there was no plane or train noise but it is next to I 90 fwy ,there was some road noise.Other guests were fairly quiet Pets allowed (dogs only) There was an elevator,I could not find the ground floor entrance The lobby had an atm ,free coffee/tea, and brochures along with 1 local paper Parking is free, outdoor lot with some covered spaces There is a guest laundry Did not see meeting spaces or a business center. Decent gym Breakfast had some cooked food along with waffles ,bread, et Al No fresh fruit Pool was filled in , now it’s a weed-choked patio Room was small and clean with some dings in the furniture and wall Good WiFi, high tech clock radio, tv, fridge and microwave, iron /board, coffee maker Plenty of outlets, landline phone There is a balcony It was dirty View is the parking lot Bathroom was small with a shower /tub combo No hairdryer Vanity area is not separate This was the only Thing in the hotel that was not dated Airport shuttle is on demand you need to call them Catch it by the rental car section across from the Marriott Public bus runs from airport to downtown (line 160) It runs past the hotel in case you want to go downtown and not deal with the terrible parking situation downtown The hotel is surrounded by other hotels ,and storage place , residences ,and an arboretum There is a Mexican restaurant across the street (closes at 9)If you arrive late at Spokane airport, everything closes early. Ate at the Ramada at the airport Go east to Bownes Addition a nice area with dining options It’s only a few minutes away Frank’s Diner has great food It’s in an old railroad car Downtown is Bing Crosby theater,Spokane Arena home to numerous events and Spokane Chiefs Hockey . Avista Field home to Spokane Indians baseball Good family small town atmosphere Big thing here is Gonzaga basketball Tickets can be tough to get By the river ,lots of hiking and biking , the convention center and mall and a big park Amtrak and Greyhound are downtown Bus line 160 from the transit center will take you to the hotel You need to take 2 buses One to the transit center and then the 160 The private airport downtown has a free museum and a great breakfast place Couer D Alene Idaho is about an hour away Beautiful little town and lake Lots of shopping/dining This place was the cheapest except for Motel 6. 148 a night ,It was a weekend and the hotels here are the last ones for a long way if you are going to Seattle Not sure if that’s why it’s so high This is not a 150 a night place The decor and landscaping won’t take your breath away Location is good because it’s close to downtown and the airport
