Amazing castle hotel -- my room was spacious, clean and incredibly quiet, with great sleep quality. From my room, I had a wonderful view across the moat of the town of Spangenberg. Parking was on-site, below the castle for free or near the castle entrance for a little extra. And my dinner in the castle restaurant was fantastic as well. Can't recommend Schloss Spangenberg highly enough!

Property for a novelty stay was excellent.
The room and beds were comfy and the views stunning.
Getting to the front of the hotel was tricky and not clearly described.
I parked down the hill as no parks at the entrance. This made getting suitcases up there was problematic
There are spiral staircases to the rooms so for elderly could be quite an effort.
Breakfast by 10 had run out of a lot of things …. So a mixed stay
Would stay again with knowledge but a bit disappointing from expectation

This place is excellent! If you've ever wanted to feel as if you're a prince or princess from your youthful dreams come here. Clean modern rooms and a nice restaurant with modern fare. Excellent internet. Take a walk around the castle and relax!

Beautiful view from the room, loved staying in a castle. Dinner in their restaurant was phenomenal!
Breakfast was nothing great, especially compared to the dinner.

Wie beim ersten Mal schon, wieder ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Hier wird voll auf die Wünsche des Gastes eingegangen.

Très belle adresse à recommander ! Accueil chaleureux et ambiance feutrée dans un cadre médiéval. Chambre très propre et calme! Petit-déjeuner copieux avec de délicieux petits pains allemands. Bref, il ne manquait rien pour passer un séjour inoubliable!
