JJulie SThis hotel has pros and cons. Pros: good neighborhood, convenient to restaurants, shopping, and interstate. Free parking. Bed was comfortable with a nice variety of pillows. Appreciate app check in which allows bypass of front desk. Cons: ran shower for 20 minutes, never got hot water (top floor, toward end of hall). Mold in shower caulking. Sink did not drain well. Walls very thin, could hear neighboring room conversations without difficulty. Was also at hotel during a weather event. Local channels unavailable. I do not like breakfast at Hampton, so did not check out options/quality of breakfast at this hotel. Overall, very average in the area, will look for other options for next stay in the area.

DDouglas NI was simply at this hotel to visit a friend briefly, but after experienced hospitality not only at its worst, it had me terrified and utterly scared. I stopped by the hotel to simply visit a friend and after proceeded to wait in the lobby to be picked up by my ride. It was a dangerously cold night with lows in the negative teens, not including the wind chill, at -35 to -45. After about 2 minutes of waiting in the lobby, I was confronted by Paul, the front desk night attendant. I informed him I was waiting for my ride and would be leaving shortly. Paul responded by asking the last name and room number of who I visited, from across the lobby. I simply paused and repeated what I originally said. Paul proceeded to tell me he did not believe me and instructed me to leave the property. I'd like to mention that I have over 10 years experience working at Marriott properties and would expect termination if ever treated a guest in the manner I was being treated by Paul. Paul insisted I immediately leave the hotel, even after I called attention to the cold and asked to just wait inside for just a few minutes, as I was not dressed to survive any extended time outside. I knew my ride would be arriving shortly so I either had to freeze outside or find shelter elsewhere, but loose my ride potentially, if I did. After waiting outside for a couple minutes I made the decision to re-enter the hotel, and informed Paul to notify law enforcement because I would be waiting inside until my ride arrived regardless of what he had instructed. Within a minute or two my ride arrived and I was able to get in a warm vehicle and proceed home. The whole ordeal lasted about 10 minutes. I would like to mention that this is the only trip advisor review I have ever written but am doing so with the hope that it will get the attention of management and be addressed to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Bad customer service is one thing, what I experience had the potential to be life threatening.

UUtente ospiteSono un membro di diamanti, ma non mi sento mai come se fossi finora. Glenn (GM), Ankas (BarT), colazione e front desk (Cathy) erano molto lontani dall'alto. Anche con la costruzione, si accertarono che il mio soggiorno non fosse solo piacevole, ma che io resti fedele a Hilton e a questa proprietà in particolare. Io frequento Des Moines spesso. Non mi prenoterò altrove. Grazie ancora Glenn e la squadra. Molto apprezzato. BTW, tutto è stato fatto prima di sapere che ero un membro di diamanti. Quindi, classe!Amo qui.

RRyan_FrisbyOpening in 2011, this hotel is from what I like to call Springhill’s weaker period, this hotel has since been renovated to match the current brand standard, and while they pulled it off better than most, there were still a couple of things they missed, but nothing too bad. Exterior/Parking/Curb Appeal/Location: The outside of the hotel was not really changed from the renovation, but it still looks quite nice and is well kept, even from a distance. The parking lot is in good shape and well lit, though while plenty of doors are present, the key reader on one is broken. The location is also convenient with several restaurants and convenience stores nearby, as well as easy interstate access. The wonderful Jordan Creek is only a couple of minutes away too. Interior Common Areas: The lobby was nice, as were the business and fitness centers, I did not check out the pool. The free breakfast was pretty solid, though the lack of waffles was somewhat disappointing. The hallways and elevator were kept clean throughout my stay. Staff: Everyone I interacted with was very nice, no complaints here. The Room: -Security: They weirdly didn’t upgrade to RFID, but the magnetic lock and deadbolt, as well as the latch lock all worked. The biggest issue here was the lack of a fire map in the room. -Cleanliness: Everything was about as clean as the housekeepers could’ve gotten it, but the carpet was in need of a deep cleaning. Also, the bathroom floor had some set in stains on it that looked like footprints. -Overall Layout: Upon entering the room, you’ll find a spacious living room with a comfy sofa, a large desk, a chest of drawers, a TV, and a wet bar area. It housed a mini fridge, microwave, ice bucket, coffee supplies, and cups. This part of the room was well lit and lacked issues. Moving on is a sink with good space and a well lit mirror, and the rest of the bathroom right across from it. It was spacious for how it was laid out and had a nice tub shower and toilet, though the lack of lotion was disappointing. Beyond this were two queen beds, more drawers, outlets, USB ports, a TV, and closet. Again, this was clean, but a little bit more worn than the rest of the room. The HVAC and view was fine. Summary: This is a nice hotel, though the minor maintenance, security, and cleanliness issues are concerning enough for me to take a TripAdvisor Dot away.

TTim BDovevo stare una notte per una festa di laurea. Arrivato tardi, ma questo hotel era solo buono.Grande servizio al desk front. La tariffa era molto conveniente. Ci sono stati molti bambini che correvano verso e fuori dalla piscina, ma che si calmavano rapidamente alle 10:00. La mia stanza Incluso un buffet per colazione gratuito. Cerca di provare a ottenere questo con la stanza, altrimenti è $15 per persona per adulti. Il cibo era grande e io ero dentro e fuori dal buffet rapidamente. L'atrio interno gigante offre un bel look all'hotel.
