The restaurant and front desk get 5 stars. Front desk were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping request granted.. AC quit working but repaired quickly. The room was good but not great. A little worn down. Chair squeaked horribly. Mattress could be replaced. As another reviewer mentioned we also had issues with finding a tv guide with remote. On the plus side the room was clean and towels were thick and soft. I would stay here again.

SSunshine41730659669Delamar makes a perfect Traverse City home base for visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes and Old Mission Peninsula. We loved the vibe of the hotel and took advantage of many amenities—a fitness center (with a Peloton bike!!), self-service coin laundry, in-room refrigerator, lobby area with fireplace overlooking the lake, continental breakfast, and wonderful on-site bar and restaurant, Artisan. Easy walking distance to other restaurants on Front Street. We would stay here again!

Where to start? 1. Wildly overpriced. Resort prices for what is essentially a Motel 6. 2. The small room had essentially NO horizontal surfaces. Terrible for a three day stay. Hard to believe that this place gets the Best Western “Plus” designation. 3. In fact, the only surface in the room (there was no counter space or vanity in the bathroom) was a tiny wheeled table that was essentially unlit. I’m not making this up. The closest lamp or overhead light was about eight feet away and you could not see a map or read anything at that table. 4. No available/accessible outlets or sockets for chargers except fot a two-plug contraption attached to a tiny bed table. 5. The coffeemaker could not be used where it was — not plugged in, and no outlet. You had to carry it into the bathroom and balance it on a narrow ***** of space next to the sink. 6. The hotel internet stuttered or just stopped working every time i tried to used it. Ended up just using my cell phone’s hot spot. 7. Bad odor in the room. I would have given the place one star, except there were a few decent things . . . Plenty of free parking, reasonably nice lobby and hallways, clean room, friendly staff . . . But those are things you should take for granted.

We stay here whenever we are in the area. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast is great with many choices—something for everyone! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, but a special shout out is due for General Manager Mark Belanger for allowing us to print a form in his office and even supplying a mailing envelope and stamps. Great above and beyond service! Thanks, Mark!

Molto buono
JJames CI like to say thank you to courtyard for helping make my son’s wedding special . Everyone from friends to family had No problem with their check in. We were happy to see the coffee shop open after a long drive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend staying here
