One word to describe Bluewater Sumilon Island would be PARADISE! We were greeted by a mild-mannered receptionist (if i remember it right, Kevin) before we hopped on the boat. Sit on the first row, if you wish to enjoy the water splashes. We didn't mind as we were still wearing our swimmers from our whaleshark experience. We got there about 1pm, the room was ready about 3pm, but no trouble, because we enjoyed alone time in the infinity pool, took a nap on the daybeds, enjoyed a ”must order” halo halo on a buko, and fruit smoothies! What makes this place awesome is the staff, from the pool guy who picks up every leaf falling on the water, to the porters who helped our bags, to the friendly people at the reception and the dining area, even the nice ladies at the Amuma lounge. William's smile and attentive service is really heart warming. I'm not surprised why he's popular! Security is spot on! My husband flew a drone in front of our room and was told off 10 seconds later, which we are ok to abide. When snorkelling, I highly recommend getting a guide to the marine sanctuary. It's so worth it! It's good that the guides protect the sanctuary. There are only areas where you can snorkel, but plenty of fish, corals and clown fish. We stayed in premier deluxe room, which was very spacious, closest to the sandbar and best spot to watch the sunrise. Buffet dinner and breakfast are really good with plenty of options. Highly recommend, but would stay for more than 1 night next time.

UUtente ospiteWe really enjoyed our stay at GT Seaside Inn - the staff were friendly and helpful, room was lovely and spacious with good air conditioning. The staff helped us to book tours locally and these were customisable to the things we wanted to do which was great. The food in the restaurant was tasty and the location was really good for wandering around Oslob, we really enjoyed looking at the old ruins, and we saw some lovely sunsets from the balcony area.

GgenkyleIt’s very strategic. It’s near the Whale shark diving and Sumilon Island. The hotel has heater and airconditioning but no hygiene products like complimentary tissue. There is a bath towel but no floor mats so it was muddy after going to the beach. It’s 2 minutes from the beach but you cannot swim there because of whale sharks. Restaurant is also 2 mins away

MMichelle BrookesGreat spot for relaxing and being right by the water’s edge. Host is friendly and welcoming and will make sure you have everything you need or want. Not a lot of amenities and food is brought down from a local restaurant and is of a good standard.

UUtente ospiteThe resort is topnotch! Very nice people that run the place! Clean rooms and pool and the serice is also very good! 5 minute drive with the tricycles to the mall/towns. The workers will also help you with the toursaround cebu! Fixing the guides and everything. 10/10

RRex WThis hotel is fairly simple by international standards, but the friendliness and help provided by the staff as well as all the turtles swimming around the beach popping up make it well worth the stay. Our ferry got cancelled last minute on Christmas Eve and the staff went out of their way to help arrange our transfers and re-book us so we could carry on with our trip. They also invited us to their Christmas dinner which was our first boodle fight and the food was great.

UUtente ospiteIt’s a nice place to stay for a few nights. It’s very unique with it’s Japanese garden type aesthetic with a bar area. There’s even a pan in the middle where you can experience a hot bath like you are being cooked. The staff here are really helpful and really dedicated to making your experience lovely. Plus they have a cute, hardworking staff member there so that’s always a plus! 👍 The area is also close the whale shark tourist attraction and Tumalong falls by car (about 10-15 minutes). If you don’t have a car, the staff will help you plan a tour which includes getting transportation for those tourist areas. The room was decent. Booked a double bedroom on the 2nd floor and it was really nice looking. Also they do have fair room service food pricing and they cook it fresh. Really loved the quiet atmosphere of this lounge, especially at night were it had a gorgeous view. Pros - Fair pricing for the type of room and experience you get - Close to the whale shark and waterfall attractions - Staff can help you book tours if you didn’t plan ahead - Quiet and relaxing outside with a Japanese garden aesthetic - Rooms have AC and hot water - Staff are very helpful and will attend to your every need Cons - The Wi-fi is pretty spotty depending on which room you book, especially on the rooms on the 2nd floor. Sometimes it would find the wi-fi network and then immediately then can’t find it. 1st floor rooms seem to be more consistent with wi-fi compared to the 2nd floor, but some of the 1st floor rooms have a communal bathroom and shower (kind of like US colleges) There is probably a dead zone in the first rooms of the 2nd floor. Getting a stronger/additional wifi extender/receiver probably can fix this - I don’t if it’s just the room I booked, but there were only 3 channels on the tv cable and none of them were watchable. It was kind of surreal since I never seen a lodge with that limited of a cable selection, so don’t plan to be watching cable here when you stay. The good news is that none of the tv ports are blocked off so you can technically connect a HDMI cable if you have one to the tv and hook up an external device like your laptop or Apple TV and watch tv that way. Despite these flaws, I really enjoyed the 1 and half days that I stayed there. It was a place where you can truly relax and meditate after you visit the tourist areas. The wifi issue and the cable issue really didn’t bother me much since this is place you would usually stay for about 1-2 days max to see the attractions and then leave.

Molto comoda grande letto, cuscino, foglie erano tutte molto invitanti per un buon sonno. A/C, TV via cavo e Fridge sono stati apprezzati tutti. Acqua calda istantanea per doccia. La migliore posizione in un quartiere e amichevole.

UUtente ospiteПросторный номер с видом на море, большое панорамное окно на всю стену. Есть кондиционер, горячая и холодная вода с хорошим напором. Есть шкаф, столик, тв, тумбочка, вся мебель уже не новая, но выглядит хорошо.
Из минусов это то что не предоставляется никаких туалетных принадлежностей, они за отдельную плату, замок у двери не запирается нормально, даже закрытый на ключ, его можно спокойно открыть, это не безопасно.
