Average The ‘exceptional’ rating swayed our decision to stay but room we were allocated was very small for the price we paid. The room was not in the hotel but in a house along the road. There appeared to be no security measures in place and the main door was left open all evening for anyone to walk in. Furthermore, despite its price, and the warm evening, they didn’t have fans for the rooms; apparently they had all broken or been stolen! Overall a good hotel but I think exceptional is a misnomer.

Very quirky pub with a fantastic horse theme. The rooms were fabulous and very comfortable. They had thought of everything in the rooms and also had Dolce Gusto coffee. Then curly wurly was a great idea instead of biscuits in the room. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Cannot fault the service we received at the bar or in the restaurant and the food was amazing.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff, the room, the decor and then the food exceptional. Just the most amazing place to stay! An absolute must. Can’t rate highly enough.we've had the privilege to stay in many beautiful places in the world and this is up there with them

You shouldnt be disappointed!! In my humble opinion. It is a lovely place to stay. When i can, i will stay here for Two nights every month while working in the area. Extremely friendly staff,. The rooms, that i have stayed in are always clean and comfortable. If there was an option for mostars, i would pick them.

Poor value for money The room was tiny with a really small TV in a pub that doesn't serve food. I had to sit sideways on the toilet its that small. The staff are pleasant enough and breakfast is make your own. For £95 you should get a lot more. The room was worth £40 at most!
