Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort at Frenchman's Reef, Autograph Collection

This booking is a total rip-off from the beginning to end. 1.Make sure you have free cancelation because you will surely use it. 2. Just know that there are extensive hidden fees including paying for paddle boarding, scuba diving, etc whether you use them or not all guest are required to pay at the end amongst other things. 3.Customer Service was horrific from beginning to end starting with long check in wait times without any acknowledgement also don't expect them to initially fill you in on the astronomical fees that they tack on in the end.Also, upon finding out they placed me on a ground level floor facing all the foot traffic opposite of any ocean or scenic views, I was promised a room change the following day which never happened for the duration of my stay. 4. Room service surprisingly came to my room at 8pm inquiring about service which was bizarre. 5.Food is insanely expensive including room servic delivery. I paid almost $50 for a small sized pizza at the low end restaurant.Free Breakfast which was listed upon booking as well as on my receipt was anything but free so be where.They told me upon checkout it is only $80 but there is nowhere stating that information. One hostess at Salt shack told me it would would be a 20minute wait for breakfast or I can try a buffet upstairs but after walking in the hotsun upstairs there was no buffet or restaurant and so the 20 minute wait continued. 6.Overall hiddeen fees were were astronomical.This is a 2star rating at best.i hate that I chose this place for my stay it was a total rip off!

La barriera corallina di Frenchman è composta dal Westin e dal Buoy Haus. Entrambi sono in qualche modo collegati. Non volevo abbattere il punteggio del resort, ma vale la pena ricordare che il personale della baracca di sale fa del suo meglio ma non è affatto rapido. Sono rimasto deluso anche dalle bevande lì, ma è la posizione e la vista. Abbondanza di acqua gratuita in tutto il resort. Servizio navetta gratuito tra i resort. Abbiamo utilizzato il nostro credito platino per la colazione per mangiare allo Shorebird Street the Westin ed è stato fantastico! Se tornassi qui non credo che noleggerei un'auto, l'abbiamo fatto perché stavamo prendendo il traghetto per St John ma potresti facilmente trascorrere diversi giorni nella proprietà.

Se stai cercando un'esperienza sulla spiaggia facile, molto rilassata e assolutamente straordinaria. Consiglio vivamente Frenchman's Reef e Buoy Haus. Le camere sono nuove, pulite, spaziose e molto confortevoli! Il personale è estremamente attento, estremamente cordiale, diligente nel soddisfare richieste e desideri e sempre reperibile. I giardini sono meticolosi. Il cibo era di altissima qualità con buone scelte nel resort e nelle vicinanze. Facilissimo da raggiungere da New York e dall'aeroporto STT. Tutto ciò che condivido sopra vale per l'adiacente Westin che condivide la proprietà. I proprietari e il team di gestione sono molto impegnati a rendere tutto fantastico! Non posso raccomandare questa esperienza più in alto! Non perdetevi questo posto!

Le ville fronte spiaggia sono assolutamente fantastiche. Il personale è meraviglioso e attento. Il cibo è un po' caro ma era buono. La proprietà è bellissima e appartata. Non c'è molto in termini di intrattenimento, ma ero lì per rilassarmi. In questa struttura non sono presenti letti matrimoniali, solo una specie di letto e un divano letto. L'unico inconveniente era l'opzione di trasporto. Ogni corsa in taxi costava minimo $ 15 a persona a tratta, quindi per andare a cena sul posto il costo era $ 90. Ho scelto di mangiare in albergo, ancora una volta, anche se il cibo era buono, i prezzi non erano convenienti. Tuttavia c'erano molte opzioni. Lo consiglio vivamente se cercate un'esperienza davvero rilassante.

Nel novembre 2023, io e la mia ragazza abbiamo trascorso 3 notti al Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort a Frenchman's Reef, festeggiando insieme il nostro quindicesimo anniversario. L'intera esperienza è stata meravigliosa. Dal momento in cui siamo arrivati ​​fino al momento del saluto, non avremmo potuto essere più felici. Check-in presso la reception il primo giorno: il personale di accoglienza è stato molto gentile e premuroso. La nostra camera era al 3° piano con una vista spettacolare sull'acqua - e un balcone con divano e sedie - perfetto semplicemente per sedersi e fissare l'acqua, mettersi in pari con un po' di lavoro sul portatile o semplicemente rilassarsi con la mia ragazza. Abbiamo iniziato ogni giornata con una camminata mattutina su per le "63 scale", su per la montagna. Quindi, via in palestra/spa. La struttura era pulita, spaziosa e aveva molte macchine, pesi liberi e accessori per la salute, il tutto per un fantastico allenamento mattutino. Poi di nuovo giù dalla montagna nella nostra stanza. Dato che il nostro obiettivo era semplicemente rilassarci e rilassarci, siamo poi passati alla piscina a sfioro. Abbiamo trovato le nostre comode sdraio preferite, situate proprio tra la piscina e la spiaggia, sotto una palma. Il personale della piscina era eccezionale e molto attento: portava molti asciugamani e sistemava le nostre sedie con belle coperte per la giornata. GRANDE RACCOMANDAZIONE qui: dopo essere stato seduto al sole per alcune ore, fai qualche passo verso The Salt Shack per pranzo. Il sandwich di pesce Mahi annerito e una birra fredda non avrebbero potuto andare meglio! Dopo qualche altra ora pigra in piscina, sono tornato in camera per rilassarmi nel tardo pomeriggio, bevendo del vino sul balcone guardando l'acqua / il cielo della sera. Per la cena c'è una varietà di ottimi ristoranti. Io e la mia ragazza torneremo SICURAMENTE!! Assicuratevi di chiedere del direttore, Kurt Wiksten, che si è assicurato personalmente che ogni dettaglio del nostro soggiorno fosse perfetto!

The stay was phenomenal! Karimah was extremely professional, did an amazing job from start to finish and truly ensured that that our stay was one to remember. She provided great customer service, recommendations on where to go and what to do and shared everything that the hotel has to offer. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the rooms are large and the sound is so peaceful. We definitely will be back again!

This resort was at the top of my list. Everything about it was perfect. The restaurants were so delicious. The closeness of the water to the rooms made it so easy to just step outside the room and be on the beach. I loved the theme of the resort. The black and white colors and the boutique feel of the smaller size. I’m already planning my return trip!

MY Stay here was absolutely exceptional. Chefs kiss! Loved every single day at Buoy Haus. The privae beach is beautiful, the food is all glorious at ever restaraunt, the pool is beautiful. Me and my lady even snuck in the pool after hours around 1am and no one bothered us. shhhh!! This is the kicker.... I wanted to do a fishing excursion then come back and have my catch cooked for me on the beach. I knew this would knock my ladies socks off. Knema Willett was adament about making it all happen for me even though i tried to put this together only one day before my trip. She stayed on top of everything even with me not having a signal on the plane and even with her being off the day I arrived she was very adament about getting in touch with me in multiple ways (phone, email and calling my room phone) and coordinating everything betwwen the captain of the boat and the head chef at Luna Mar which prepared my catch and sides for me and my lady. She gave suggestions to all of the best restaraunts and the local beach and scene for us to party with the locals. Ms. Willett was my go to but the entire staff was friendly and helped with everything I needed. Even the occasional watch out for this or that when giving suggestions, showing they cared for our safety and well being. This was one of my best trips ever. Thank you Knema for going the extra mile for me. As men they want us to do all the plannig and yu my dear made my experience so easy. Thank you thank you thank you so much

We retuned from St Thomas a week ago and here is the running pro/con list I kept while staying at Buoy Haus: Pros: -Friendly and helpful front desk staff and bell persons -Very comfortable room, AC greeted us after a long travel day and the subsequent days that the sun ****** the energy out of us. -We actually liked the food at both Salt Shack and Sandbar despite the bad reviews we saw on different sites. There’s a watermelon salad at Sandbar I’m still thinking about. -The beach is gorgeous. The sand is clean, the water is clear, and there’s very little seaweed. There are waves which I love. -The pool is very relaxing and it’s nice that it’s only for Buoy Haus guests. -We never had to wait more than a few minutes for the shuttle to the Westin or for a taxi when we went off property. Cons: -Bugs. I think this is a St Thomas thing but we got bitten all over despite wearing repellent and wearing repellent bracelets. -Beach chairs are SO close together and there were a couple of days where we were near some very loud talkers. Not relaxing at all. This is on the guests really. -The entry into the water in the shared beach was very rocky the first couple of days. The entryway into the water in the Buoy Haus guest only section is much better but this area is also where the public beach is so it doesn’t seem as secure. After the rain, sand seemed to come in so it was much better. -Could use a sundry store so you didn’t have to go to the Westin. -I know smokers are persona non grata nowadays but we do exist. It would be nice to not be banished to the parking lot and if we are at least give us space in the shade and maybe a bench. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Overall, we loved our vacation at Buoy Haus and are already planning our next trip.
