Centrally located but absolutely filthy inside. Stains on bedding. White towels actually grey. Sticky shower room floors Toilets with stains down the side We paid but stayed at local Travelodge to escape this dump. Staff absent horrible place

We booked here as we were in Southampton watching a gig and decided to stay over. We were welcomed by a friendly lady at the guest house, who was very helpful. Our room 7 had good facilities and was clean, if a little tired in places. I was impressed by the facilities in the room - I can see it would be ideal for contractors with the hob, microwave etc. The bed was a little small and not as comfortable with a soft mattress (but that is personal preference). The shower was powerful, and the room had great storage facilities. I loved the original features in the building too. I felt the stay was very good value for money.

I stayed @Circle guest house in southampton in november for 2 nights room only . Shared bathroom ,which was like on suite for me. The room was downstairs bright and airey nice n quiet. Nice host The price was very good for a city centre Its only 5 minutes walk from the train station 2 minues to culture area and 5 minutes across the park to city centre. If in southampton i would recomnend it.

Brilliant welcome from the owner and directed to a room at the rear of the building overlooking the FREE spacious/secure private car park and a view of the Mayflower Theatre that we were attending. Perfect location for the theatre and other parts of town plus only a short distance to the main station. Good value considering the parking benefit. Our room had a double bed, a kitchenette with kettle, microwave, hob and a fridge plus crockery to suit. Toilet and a shower. Slightly basic but perfectly acceptable and clean for a one night stay. Only niggle we have is the room was freezing cold. The one radiator came on for a short time in the evening but not the morning! Probably no better than 18 degrees at any time that we feel is not up to the expected standard of any accommodation. We would use the place again, but not in cold weather!!

my company booked me in for 1 night, on arrival the staff were very nice, got to my room had a single bed which was very comfortable. there was a TV and a small fridge which I thought was a good touch, and microwave a as well. The staff were very helpful i needed something printed, and the owner was more than happy to help. location is also good, near the time with a few minutes walk. overall my staff was what i needed

I while defently get back here with my wife matt and her wife is so great help alot if you are respect full don't expect 5 star service but expect people there is lovely and help full if you have a question or you need a taxa the will help you there will be clean towels and lovely people to talk two we give 5 star on the service from us tank matt and wife see you another time Kevin and Maria from denmark

Nice budget no frills guest house in the city… great place if you’re looking for value for money. I think the price slightly increases during peak times but then again so does it everywhere. Fridge in rooms was an added bonus which kept our drinks chilled. location within walking distance and parking for our car.

Comfortable bed and pillows, en suite shower/wc with toiletries and towels. Good tv and microwave, fridge and tea/coffee facilities. 5 mins walk to main shopping street and lots of restaurants inc a Wetherspoons for cheap all day meal options (no meal options at guest house). Surprisingly quiet street for good night's sleep. Friendly welcome on arrival. CCTV at the door, felt very safe there. Would definitely recommend.
